50 year toker, first time grower!

A bit of an update on my first grow. Well, a bit mystified. Plants I think are looking well, flipped 2 weeks ago, but they are very small. As I mentioned before, I don't know what they are. Not autos, they didn't flower until I put them on 12 x12? I must admit I am winging it somewhat, still learning all the jargon! Still trying to understand the phone app, roughly at the moment ppfd 500/600, DLI 25/26 light meter around 44400?

Lol! I think the one next to it is too. The other 2 look different, but Hubby says get rid of them all and start again. I have bought feminised seeds now, at least I know I can grow something!🙂

Can i get a male via light? Or can i herm them only?

You can't make a male. You can herm a female with chemicals, stress, or running long (a form of stress). Plus, some strains will be predisposed to hermaphrodism.

you can allsoo simply plant a male from the begging(<-how does one spell this word) :D

Back when Gorilla glue was the hot new strain that everyone wanted to grow people were happy to overlook the fact that it was born from an accidental Chemdog's Sister hermie and had a tendency to do the same with very light stress. That by itself is is not even the worst part.

The problem is it was so popular that they crossed it with everything under the sun. Fast forward 20 years and here we are.

Are those bag seeds? Like from some old Mexican brick weed? Do you remember where you got them?

I'll trade you some fem seeds for the pollen if it is!! 💚

So as me and my OH never been involved with any kind of gardening, we have seeds that have been given to us, a long time ago lol, years! Anyway long story short 4 seeds took that we found in a container with the BigBuddhaCheese leaflet feminised seeds? I didn't want to buy seeds yet until I thought we have any chance of growing. So here we are, but one plant is not the same as the other 3 so who knows what they are lol!
The first plant we nearly lost at seedling but it came back, however it is small, 8 weeks. The second plant is 6 weeks and plants 3/4 5 weeks.
Not really sure what I am doing, follow here and the web generally, but beginning to feel a bit more confident and looking at autos to grow. This is all personal use for me and OH. Any suggestions welcome!

Im doing good with biobizz, will send you a photo tomorrow evening (well, for you in the morning, i guess).

This wont help you, im not messuring, im freestyling

I rocked 16 plants so far, all female as advertised. Had to throw one to the trash because of bud rot, the rest were a good sport, ehh, smoke
