My brother racked up 20 or 30 grand worth of student loans 45 years ago at San Diego State! Still hasn’t paid them off! Says the 30 grand in his 401(k) earns enough to keep paying the interest and the penalties and still have plenty left! So what’s the point in paying it off! L O L!
