This is only a single closet grow, but I had so much help with fellow farmers on the carbon filter, going organic, fox farm nutes(OGRaskal nute schedule), using both HPS and MH together, this is my thanks to those that extended their hand and help. Planted beans on 12-29. StrawBubbaKush came up in jiffy pots 3 days later. Bubblelicious came up next day, then AK48 following day. Fungus knats appeared early in veg, used insect killer with some success, but substance was not good on plant leaves in veg. Received help and suggestions on solving this problem and plants recovered.Vegged plants at 18/6 for 7 weeks. Aks grew very slow. Straw/Bubba and Bubblelicious grew faster in veg. Obtained the Fox Farm trio and noticed spurt in growth and health of plants. Attempted Fim and failed on Bubblelicious and StrawBubba. Did not Fim AKs they were too short and tardy. Allowed plants to recover and topped Bubble and StrawBubba. Worked very well. I may have 4 to 6 top colas on each of these plants. Flipped to 12/12 after 7 week veg. StrawBubba has streatched the most and gotten much bigger that the other strains. I am now in the 3rd week of flower and very proud of the results. Plants much healthier than my previous bag seed miracle grow effort. The single cola plants are the AKs. I have to compliment OGRaskal on the vigour and growth of the StrawBubba Kush. I believe these will be the stars of this small grow. I do not have any co2 going in the closet. I would appreciate some suggestions on flowering time for the StrawBubbaKush. I believe the AKs will finish first, then Bubble, then SBK. I'll post more pics as I get further along in flowering. Thanks for the help farmers for my small personal, but looking dank, grow.:free-character-smil

Ok, I here to rag on a Company that makes a shitty timer. Hell, it even was an outdoor timer that I kept safe from the elements behind a locked door inside. It did not even last for 2 complete grows. The evil brand is:Intermatic model #HB350RCL, 15 amp resistive with a 1/3 HP motor. It was purchased at Lowe's but the failure was not their fault. I drove like a madman when I discovered my girls in the dark this afternoon to replace it. Intermatic owners beware, I promised my girls I would treat them better for the next few months. They accepted my apology.

The claw has struck the biggest, baddest strawbubbakush and has me fretting over the outcome. It has been flushed twice, last time this afternoon. I will let it dry out and reintroduce a weakened Fox Farm Big Bloom and Tiger Bloom later this week. Damn, I thought this OGRaskal bean would be the star of this grow. Photos attached for any diagnosis and treatment advice.Peace and Respect MON

5th week of flower update. The frost on the AK48s and one bubblelicious are wonderful. Much, much more frost that my earlier bag seed grow. The other bubblelicious and strawbubba kush have trichs, but not as visible to the naked eye. The claw bitch strawbubbakush has started brown pistils, more curling, loss of color in top bud leaves and some fan leaves. I'm still growing this bitch out to the end and see what I end up with. Glad I topped/fimmed both the bubblelicious and strawbubbakush. I should get multiple tops from both. I have not seen a plant like the AK48(untopped beacuse of slow veg) generate as many bud sites all over the plant, damn it's impressive. Looking for the span when the buds start adding on girth and size, I want them as big as possible before chop. The extra 400 watt HPS has helped the buds get more substantial and dense. One more month of higher utility bills then harvest. The smell is coming out the closet door even with the carbon filter. Any suggestions for someting to help mask the odor for these last few weeks?

seal the closet with panda plastic, and weatherstrip the door, if your carbon filter still isnt cutting it, I would upgrade.....

btw, I've found that adding some co2 with humidity levels in the 60% range can help claw recovery times.....

Air fresheners might help... If you got company over put em in garbage bags and spray the room w/ Lysol. Nice AK. I dont know bout the claw .... could be the beginning of phosphat just a guess... You said you're organic try giving her some synthetic to see if that's your problem. If the tips are turning brown then that might be fert burn so be very careful w the fertilizer.

Update for middle of 6th week of flowering. Checked tric with Radio Shack microscope and most are cloudy. I am happy with 5 of my 6 plants and nearing the end. Should be done with all of them by the end of April. The the cut, dry in my box, and jars for fine aging. The flash wiped out the frost on the buds. I need to back off on these close ups. Keeping the plants low helped the 400 watt HPS and 400 watt MH develope better, denser buds. Photos are of the AKs and bubblelicious. Straw bubba kush are 1/2 to 1 foot taller, one claw and one doing real well, but buds are not as developed as AKs and bubblelicious. They should flower longer for a week or two. I have never seen a short plant like the AKs develope as many bud sites all over the plant, damn I'm impressed. Short, but bud bontifull:cool0044:

:bong-hits:Here are the results right before chop for the claw strawberry bubba kush, AK, and BG versions I ran. Much better yeild and result than first grow. I believe the two 400 watt HPS and MH really helped, along with organic soil and fox farm. Hang then jar time coming up.
