Hey Y’all,
Shaking off the cobwebs after not growing for the last 3 years. I’m hoping to get back in action. I purchased Humboldt Seed Company’s Cali Sour Diesel feminized seeds as the genetics for the outdoor grow. I’m starting them in a 2’x3’ tent inside and grow them for a couple weeks. Around May 17th, I’ll transplant them to their final home. 3’x7’ raised garden bed. This will be an organic run. Gunna follow some KNF ideas I learned. Humid acids and fermented soybean amino acids w/every watering once the plant’s roots are established. Other than that, I’ll be using some dry amendments and top dressing them throughout their life.

Germination:
3/29/25 - soaking 3 seeds in a shot class of filtered dechlorinated water, pH’ed at 6.7 for 16 hours.

3/30/25 - wet paper towel where they spent the next 48h. I used an heating mat to help keep temps warmer. All three seeds sprouted tap roots. Average temp/humidity was 78.3 F & 71.7%.

4/1/25 - seeds were planted into small containers filled with a mix of garden bed soil, peat moss w/mycorrhizae, and some perlite and placed in my small grow tent indoors. The plants are under a Spider Farmer SF2000 that is 27 1/2” above the canopy and @25% intensity. Average temp/humidity was 73.4 F and 69.35 %

4/4/25- 3/3 seeds have popped through the soil. They seem to be happy. Will continue to update.

Update:
1 week since I last posted, Cali Sour Diesel is off to a great start. They started to stretch for the light so I had to increase the intensity. I have it @ 40% and the plants seem to love it. Average temp/humidity was 74.4 F & 68.7% through the last week. I haven’t fed them anything other than filtered pH’ed water. I’m probably going to start small doses of Humic acid and Fermented soybean aminos with their waterings here soon.

Here we are 13 days after the seeds have sprouted from the soil. The ladies are loving life right now. I started giving them humid acid & soybean aminos with their waterings on 4/13. They seem to be liking it. Average temp throughout the week was 76.6 F & humidity was 62.5%.

Alright guys,Haven’t had a chance to update the grow in a minute. Had some company over for the last week. Much hasn’t changed. Plants are loving life. Plants are still getting humid acid, soybean aminos, and I’m sneaking in a little mammoth p microbes. There was a string of hot weather here so for a few days, the temps inside the tent got over 90 degrees F. Making me believe this could have stunted the plants slightly. I transplanted the girls on 4/19 into 1 gallon fabric pots. They were given some mykos wp and azoz by extreme gardening during transplant. We have about 17 days until I transplant outside to the raised garden beds. Excited to see the process! Average temp throughout the week was 78 F and humidity was 58%
