I'll jump in on this thread with success germinating landrace seeds. Popped 6 out of 7 Tushkergan and 8 out of 8 Mazar-i-sharif from the real seed co. I've heard landraces can have terrible germination rates so I'm pleasantly surprised. One of the Mazars started a little wonky but seems to be growing out of it. I'll see how many females I get but regardless the greenhouse is going to be crowded this summer as I want to put some tenguseedco plants in there also. We have a 4 plant limit here in Virginia so don't tell anybody .View attachment 2434258
Ooh! Mazari is so deep funk!! Love the smells she gives!! Pumped for ya!!

Hes not Jimmie anymore, or still? Or yet? Who is Jimmie now?🤣

wonder how a real hash plant would press? : )
Modern hash plants are pretty similar to all modern plants! I grew one last year! Potent, but no soul! You have to get back to the roots! Hash plant is a pretty generic term nowadays! Marketing!

I wish I had my old name back. I can’t log in. On a better note, I’ve grown Mazar for 3 years in a row, high yield and great weed. I gave some to a friend, she a Marine. She worked in Mazar Sharif, I guess it went full circle. Good strain though

yeah I hear you for sure. when i said real hash plant i was thinking something that the old timer has stashed away and maybe someday we can get it mixed in! hoping the Maui 86 I’ve got mixed in with stuff has the old money effect! 🤣

ok there you are! Sorry about the password thing or whatever it is. You’re still the good ole Jimmie we knew before the name change : )

Dig this method! Easier than dropping in the pot, and you gain that extra soil!
I’ve seen some around here do what you’re talking about : ) these girls are just getting sat on top because I’m hardening them off for the next few weeks then I’ll burry them cozily into their 25s : )

Agree. Too much interbreeding with modern hybrids. All same buzz. Minor differences.
I grew modern for three years and says something had to change! When you go, Landrace, you get the whole 9 yards! History, geography, different buzz! Just a different experience that you can really attach to! Whether you get them to the finish line or not, the journey is worth it! Just what I was looking for to complete my time on this rock!😆

Autoflowers doing autoflower things. 6 out of 6 babies sprouted. And some other random stuff from the garden. Corn, onions, beans, peas, tomatoes, nectarines, and fuji apples. I didn't realize corn grew so fast. Maybe next year I'll start the corn and weed at the same time and see which one wins.

Love your gardens durbin. My corn may have to be replanted it's been 10days or more and no show. It's cool an rainy in my area again😟 tomatoes are just sayin "duh" it's wet.

Thanks Cal. Damn that sucks on your end. I know how you feel. My carrots are testing my patience. And I have to restart my cucumbers and pumpkins. Good thing is those are fast growing and react better to more heat.
