Just a wild guess what happened, the RO filtering was recently started. When you put low pH water with bicarbonates in buffered soil it can interact with the buffers and actually raise the soil pH. So the pH goes up and suddenly it can't take in iron in that higher pH, and you've got an iron deficiency on your hands. Now that RO water is being used, this shouldn't be an ongoing problem and grower won't need to use "Kentucky windage" when ph'ing water to figure out what you'll get when it flows through the soil because it's now RO and no bicarbonates or minerals to screw things up.

With drinking water, the purification process lowers the pH. So it's not uncommon for municipal water to have bicarbonates to raise the pH to drinking specs (7.2-7.6).

Something else I wanted to mention, Vinegar is another thing that can raise your soil pH. If you use it to pH adjust your water, the effects are temporary. It goes back up. To observe this, you can pH adjust a watering can and then test that water 24 hours later and you'll see what I mean.

I'm using fox farms ph up and down.

So I shouldn't need to adjust anything but the ph to 6.5?

Yes, that and make sure to follow feeding recommendations / intervals when growing with Coco Loco. Those leaves arent going to magically improve but you'll know you're moving in the right direction when no new symptoms are showing up. Be sure and share update pics in a couple weeks.

Flushed it out and watered the brood. Found more aphids so also Captain Jacked them up...
Hopefully we got the aphids. I'm holding off on flipping them until those are gone.

Oh. And the flushed water phed at 5.6. Maxed the ppm at 1999.

Moving forward, make sure you always have some good runoff when you water. That's kinda low coming out and a sign there was some waste buildup at the bottom.

Now, checking out the spinosad, I need to use some neem oil to get rid of the aphids...

You can use the spinosad for aphids. It doesn't work right away unfortunately. I grow outside and there's bugs on everything. Best way to do a treatment is blast the bugs off with a strong mist of water. Tilt the pot when you're doing it so the soil doesn't get wet. You might lose some dirt, don't sweat it just keep the water and bugs out of the dirt. Then after it dries, apply the spinosad. They recommend early morning or late evening so I would do it after lights out. It'll take a couple days for the remaining bugs that clung to feed and die but it'll work. Aphid eggs come off pretty easy. Try hosing off scaly bugs, those things are complete assholes. Fortunately they've stayed away from my weed and only been picking on my jalapeno and habanero peppers as of late.

They seem to be responding well to their flush/watering. I think the color on the leaves filled in a little, and the next set is coming out. Hopefully looking better. The aphids aren't gone, but I've cut them back.
Thank you for the help.

New pics. You can see the bright color went from mostly bright to mostly dark. I'm hoping the new leaves look more normal. The upper right corner on the bigger pic has the discolored leaves.

I'm back from my vacation. My alternates handled the days I was gone nicely. I didn't have them take measurements on the run off.
I did just water them. Ph came out 6.3/6.4. Ppm was 1000 on one, 1300 on one and maxed on the other 2 at 1999. The 2 at max are smaller and haven't used up the soil yet. The other 2 I'll start adding nutes next watering.
The leaves on the one plant are looking fine, I guess. The one branch seems a little lighter in color on new growth, but no weird pattern. The one that was strange is mostly back to normal as well.
I am still dealing with aphids, but I've got the DE soil coming. I'll spray em down with neem and soap. Add a few more ladybugs. Hopefully I can at least keep them under control.
I'll grab some pictures in a bit. 3 of them are a touch droopy - they should recover shortly.

I'm growing in soil. Recently added a reverse osmosis for the water. Last watering was phed water. Ppm was 25. Ph at about 5.8 to 6. They were moved to large pots and week ago.
The leaves visually jump out.
Might be light burn

I personally think its potassium lockout due to the light being too bright ,(first thing to get locked out is nitrogen so the leaves go pale then yellow down the edges)

Ok. I guess I have one plant that's sensitive to the light. I've got the brightness pretty low - level 3 at the moment. I've had it 20 to 24 inches up. It's a little low right now - they grew 6 inches while I was gone. I need to raise it up.

Here are the latest pictures.

I recieved the diatomaceous earth and more ladybugs. I put the DE on the soil and have released the ladybugs.
The plants are looking pretty good today, and they got an inch at least since yesterday. I'm going to give them another day or 2 to recover and then lollypop and flip.

I've added a bigger light. One that's about right for the room. The one plant has the one branch that is still discoloring. I'm going to water, and I'm going to add a little calmag. And some nutes.
All other plants look great - as do all the other branches on this plant. I had another bout with aphids. I think they must ride along in the soil? I repotted in bigger pots and had the aphids again. They seem to be gone now after several treatments(neem oil and soap, plus I've added DE to the top soil).
I've lollypoped them and flipped at this point. They've really taken off now. They seem to get an inch or 2 each day.
