Looking good! Seems like the big ones could use more nutes unless you recently increased already 😁
at this point i'm assessing things from day to day making small changes as to watering and feeding as i go. i had the same thing happen on the two previous grows as well. i gotta do my best to promote a healthier grow this time. given how much i've seen of this previously if i can adjust what is needed properly this could be the best grow i've had to this point. going very easy with any changes as i don't want to overdo anything and just screw things up more. it would be nice to have another grow go as well as the 1st one, the plants in that grow were so healthy. i can accept slower growth but if the quality sucks then it's just wasted time.

i would say i am seeing very little to no purple/red in the stems this time which to me suggests i'm doing better at not overwatering as before.

just took these pics so i haven't labelled anything on them.

Looking pretty good bro!!! 👊🏼 I think as @Eledin mentioned, they could use some nutrients now. I noticed they were in clear solid pots......did not see any drainage holes in your pots

much thanks. no holes in the pots. #1 & #2 have been looking somewhat paler as time goes on so i'm trying to address it. after the issues i had with the last 2 grows i really need to get the conditions right this time.

I would highly suggest more aeration by adding a bunch of holes in the bottoms of the pots. Will help with oxygen to the root level as well as helping dry out the medium evenly!
You will notice happier plants and quicker growth!! 👍🏼

She is a beauty! That distance is still a bit close but I think should be fine and if not you will realize and put it even higher anyway if the symptoms get worse. If youre gonna feed her start with half those I dont see her taking nutes from the lower leaves which means she is not hungry but that doesnt mean she cant eat, it will help her develop faster as long as its not too much. If you see tips starting to yellow and its not only on the upper leaves (which would be light stress) it means youre giving too much PK. If the tips start ponting downwards and progress to a claw like form is too much N. This is just a huge generalization to avoid going into much detail and making the post huge, but if you follow those indicators you can 100% find their sweet spot as to how much they can eat.

Start of PK burn if the yellow tips are in all the nodes:

Medium PK burn (by this point you should have already realized and backed up the dose so this doesnt happen by realizing about the yellow tips)

Advanced PK burn

Start of nitrogen toxicity:

Medium nitrogen toxicity (it advances from just the tips to the leaves clawing)

Advanced nitrogen toxicity:

from my guess i'm thinking i've got an issue with all the nutrients on my biggest 2 plants

so true. Eledin has mentioned it before. i really do want to see how successful i can be without the holes. i do like being able to visually see the roots unfortunately it hasn't kept me from constantly overwatering the plants though 😖😱🤔🫣🙄😂. without a doubt the oxygen to the roots is something i am concerned with not having the openings.

I love the idea of being able to check out the plants roots!! 👊🏼. Looks like you wrapped the pots to block the light. 👍🏼
i wrapped the pots first with black plastic to block the light and then with white plastic to help keep the pots cooler when i put the plants in the sun. the last plant i transplanted doesn't have the white layer yet.

Are you noticing any results yet?
the peroxide and all the things i did of which many i would have preferred avoiding did little to get rid of the gnats. i finally used nematodes and something called mosquito bits i believe. i got the nematodes and a roommate gave me some of the mosquito bits. those seemed to work, too bad i wasted so much time with everything else i did.

the oregon grape (og) is still producing three leaves instead of the usual 2 per node.

#1 is doing fairly well but #2 is showing discolored dry edge areas on some of the higher leaves as well as dark spotting and color fade on the lower leaves. i'm trying to keep from over watering first and then see if i can zero in on the causes.

At what distance is the light and what light did you have again? I see yellow tips which means that either the light is too close/bright or they had too much PK (if you didnt feed them its because of the compost I guess).
You need to buy nutrients if you want them to be happy, biobizz has a very cheap base for veg and bloom if you dont wanna spend much but still wanna go organic. You dont need to buy all the supplements, or any at all, but you need a base NPK liquid calibrated for weed. Most likely the PK burns, if its not the light, its due to lack of nitrogen as the leaves suggest. Rust spots are usually a mineral deficiency but I only see 1 so far, in number 2.

Very cheap, with 1 liter of each you have for several grows. Dont buy the big ones because they will ferment and while the plant can still absorb the nutrients the PH of your water will go down a lot if it ferments.
