If you want to up pot, looks like a great
Time to do it. I’d start some LST also ✌️

Ok thanks, so would I do Lst with the main or the side branches. Cause the side branches don’t look long enough to do so?

Transplanting and starting LST at the same time may shock the plant a bit. It will recover.

For LST, I would pinch and roll the stalk in the middle of the plant. Break up the fibers without breaking the skin. Bend it a 90 degree angle and secure it with wire and clip ✌️

I would top her above the fifth node, remove at least the first nodes and then train the lower branches sideways.

With the top gone the side branches will all catch up...

And I would transplant her into something larger, this is mine in a 5 gallon pail with GroBucket insert.

I did not let her get wide enough before I flipped to flower and she ended up at close to 4' tall !

I grew six of these beasts last year - Mauie Wowie. They did well, outdoors, in 15 Gallon fabric pots. After topping, they still reached about 7' tall.

Thanks guys for all the feedback it’s very helpful with me. So I have another question about my gsc strain when will I know when it’s starting into early flowering. When growing outdoors

Just so I know when to start with my flowering nutrients?

This is right after I flipped from Grow to Flower nutrients. Below is a Maui Wowie plant from the 2024 season. This is a close up. The initial flower was small. Once you start to see the pistils coming out, you could switch. What I noticed last year was that right before flowering, these plants went into growth mode. They really began to stretch! I felt like every morning when I went to check on them, they were significantly taller. I wish I did some kind of time lapse. When you see that stretch, that could be another indicator. Maybe one of these bros with more experience can chime in too. I only have one successful season under my belt, so I'm probably talking out my Ass.

I have noticed a quick growth with my gsc plant. I’m wondering if it’s getting ready to switch

I’m not sure if that’s a really good pic but it seems that more growth is coming in before the other gets a chance to to grow

This might be a little bit better of a pic

If it's an auto flower it usually starts 3-4 weeks after germination. If it's a photoperiod it depends on the length of day which depends on where you live in the world. Once they start getting more than 10 hours of darkness each night they will begin to flower. Each strain is slightly different but here in new york it's around the last week in August.
