Since the discussion is going well, here’s an update on both plants at day 39 since seed and day 12 since re-potting.

Questions:
1. Do I need to remove some lower branches that look unhealthy or aren’t growing after re-potting? Branches without true leaves are branches that were already there before re-potting.
2. If so, which branches?

Thank you!

We'll get to defoliation a bit further down the road. Right now, let them grow without interference. Your lower growth looks healthy so leave the solar panels ... the green on the plant for now.

Noted, man. I’ll let them do what they’re supposed to do.

More info: I watered them 10 hours ago and only gave them kelp and worm castings.

Here’s an update on day 44 from seed and day 17 after repotting:

Mimosa is growing pretty well even after some big root damage. She looks healthy with a few new leaves and branches. I’ve been training her only with leaf tucking (planning on branch clipping soon).

Sour Jealousy, I’m pretty sure she’s stunted, but she survived and looks healthy despite the major root damage. Her growth isn’t as good as Mimosa, though.

I’ve only been feeding both with worm castings and kelp meal.

Questions:
1. Is Sour Jealousy in the early flowering stage? If she is, should I start giving her flowering nutrients? I’ve only got bone meal (which is slow-release) and an organic flower booster from a local shop.

2. Should I defoliate Mimosa, or just leave her be?

Update on day 83 since seed, day 56 since repotting, and week 3 (day 24) of flowering for mimosa. Due to an incident, sour jealousy was eaten by my goat while I was sunning it (the weather was great at the time), very sad but that’s what happened. So the next update will only be about mimosa. Is defoliation on mimosa sufficient? Is the bud growth normal, slightly fast, or actually delayed?
