Hello I am currently doing my 1st indoor grow and after a lot of research and tips from some people on here i have decided to go with...

Mega grow 1 part
sweet candy
sea kelp
bud booster
& cal-mag
(all from greenleaf nutrients)
All water soluble.

I have a 4x4 grow tent with a mars hydro fc-e4800 led light.
I will be using Royal Gold tupar as the medium which as im sure you all know is a coco coir perlite mix.

I have 4, 5 gallon fabric pots in my 4x4 tent. I have been growing my plants and have done basically the entire veg without using any nutes just bottled water and plants are doing great so far but are ready to be transplanted into their 5 gal pots (currently in 1 gal.) and then flipped to a 12-12 cycle so they can start to flower.

I will be using RO water and setting my pots on individual trays(saucers really).

My plants are..
2 GMOxGassy Taffy
2 Grease Fire #4's (Greasebucket#4xGassy Taffy)

My questions are
1.) Since I am using Mega Grow 1 part, will I need to use the cal-mag? If do how often and how doni know when to use it and when not to use it?
2.) Since I am using Royal Gold tupar coco coir/perlite mix how often will I need to feed my plants per day? Will 1 time be enough or will I have to feed them twice a day? Am draing to waste btw
3.)Since I have nit given the pla ts any nutes yet I have heard to start with a 50% amount of the recommended amount to give the plants and slowly increase from there throughout the flowering stage Until I get to full recommended dose. Is this correct?
4.) I will be mixing up my nutes in five gallon buckets, was planning on only mixing 1 five gallon buckets worth of nutes and feeding my four 5 gal plants with that 5 gallons. Is this going to be enough? Will 5 gallons be enough for two feedings a day or just one? Or neither? Am going to be hand watering-drain to waste.
5.) How many gallons of water with nutes should I be giving these 4, 5 gallon plants per feeding.?
6.) DRAINAGE! What should I do to deal with the runoff from feeding? From what ive read ill have a good bit of runoff since im using the Royal gold tupar coco coir and perlite mix. How do I get rid of the runoff? Do I just turkey baste it out of the tryas and dispose of it? Have no idea what to do about the runoff..
7.) Is there anything else that I am missing or tips, tricks or any things I should definitely do or need to know?

I know its a lot of questions, i apologize for this but as i said this is my first grow so any and all help, advice or knowledge tossed my way is greatly appreciated. Cannot tell you how much I appreciate everyone that will hopefully reply to my post and gives me some very much needed help. It means the world to me, honestly. I swear I had another question or two but cannot think of it right now but if i do i will make another post. Also i am sorry for writing a novel lol just wanted to get it all out in one post, I hope that was the right way to go about it. Thank you to all who reply🙏🙏🙏

Everybody has their favorite way of growing, but i just wanted to say i have struggled with coco and coco mixes for 2 years , killed 3 grows had nute problems . this year i have made some living soil with bat guano, worm castings and rabbit droppings and a layer of clay pebbles on the bottom, dumped the plastic pots for fabric and everything is pefect , no tip burn, no leaf curling , nice healthy colour, and i can just water and dont have to turkey baste the run off away, that gets boring real quick..(i used to put it on my blackberrys outside) . i use a seaweed based organic feed, and have some things like bonemeal and guano for top dressing .
my biggest mistake , after overwatering , was misdiagnosing problems, like when my leaves started curling up and i thought the light was too close, so moved the light up and carried on feeding. !! my plants are so healthy because of the people on here who will share their knowledge and expertise and i have learnt huge amounts by seeing other peoples successes and unfortunately disasters .

It's the right place to ask! This community has been absolutely amazing.

To answer to the best of my abilities:

1) if all nutes are from the same supplier, they should have a spreadsheet available showing exactly how much you need. Usually you take the lowest amount stated on there and slowly work your way upwards. Keep an eye on the ppm when mixing. I do see that mega crop from greenleaf has Ca and Mg, so I can really advise checking with them.

2) I've heard people watering once a day with pure coco since it has close to nothing in nutes but I really cannot give a good answer since i grow in a soil mix.

3) redirecting to answer 1. Check with the supplier and always start with the lowest amount stated, otherwise slowly going from 25%>50%>75% of the amount stated is safe enough. Adjust when plants tell you to.

4) It really depends. I use liters so this is a bit hard, but i like to use (per plant) 1L in week 1 veg, 2L in week 2, 3L in week 3 etc. During this time you will notice the saturation points for all your plants. All plants are different so one can suck up way more way faster than others. Just keep a close eye.

5) Revering to answer 4

6) Get creative. I like to water with the pots on a platform (chairs, tables etc.) so i can catch all the runoff in a clean bucket and go from there.

7) Give these ladies a load of love and never stop learning. Youtube is full of professional growers that show what you need for your situation. Rather watch it 10 times too many than 1 time too little.

Give us some pics when it's time and good luck!
