Just some other stuff in my garden.
The corn stalks are all over 7' tall and have CORN on them. Super stoked considering this is my first time growing it.
The beans and peas are loaded.
The tomato plants are loaded.
Pumpkin vines are starting to show the male flowers. Just keeping an eye out for the female ones so I can start pollinating them.

Legit!

Just started getting some female flowers! So do you wait for things to open up or do you pry the female flower open to pollinate? I wanted to make sure things happen! Hahaha!

I wait for the females to open up. I'll cut open the males if they aren't open. use a cue tip to transfer the pollen or just cut the male flowers off and rub them together and pollinate it that way. But be on it though because the females only open for a couple of hours. Don't want to miss the chance. Happy gardening!!!

Thanks dude! 🤩

I am sure that there are threads out there on this, but has anyone had issues with Humboldt or ILGM seeds. I have had about a 20% germination rate. The plants that did grow are a mess. I have had great luck with Grower's Choice and Seedsman. What are the other reliable seed banks out there?
Seed Supreme, Homegrown, Royal Queen

Ask’n not show’n : )

I got two plants I havent trained other than a few green limb bender things and some toppings. I was thinking about letting the two ride it out! any thoughts? I’m thinking they’ll get pretty tall and I’ll need to wrap them in some kind of netting (I’ll have netting) OR topping them again today? 🤷‍♂️ maybe I should ask @Oldchucky after all they are his! 😆🖕🤣❤️✌️

I get stoned and wait for inspiration to hit 🤣

if you got enough where yield isn’t an issue you might as well push the limits 🤣 ever done super or mega cropping? where they top like the entire plant? Seems stressful but might be fun

That's the way to do it.

Dude my thoughts also! I was looking at them thinking i could take enough off the top to have two freaking plants if i can get them to root! things would start life almost 3 feet tall! 🤣😳😂 Ill smoke some more herb and see if it happens or not🤣

some insperato, homie! thank you : ) ✌️

Like BT in the soil and surrounding areas along with spraying the plants? : ) I’ve yet to get the stuff to combat them so im in the market. About when do you start treating for them?
I am proactive and start treating once a week from the time I put them in the ground. It creates that toxic climate from the get go. BT on Monday evenings and Neem oil on Thursday evenings up until 2-3 weeks before harvest. Still get pillars but very few and the damage is minimal.

How does that affect other insects? I gotta lot of worms to keep alive hahah

Trying some autos! My winter autos were shit so hopefully 2025 smiles upon me 🤣

anybody else eagerly awaiting june? Think I’m gonna start my photos in april or so inside.
My actual little baby is an auto. I know, bad idea for a beginner, but she's all I had so I was like fuck it...I'll try anyway while waiting the new batch I ordered. Those are feminized indoor sativa strain from Afghanistan (Special Kush). Today my first one is at 11 days of age.

So Cal winter grow Durban Poison, end of week 13. Look how stunted she is from the cold, still wanting to grow out but sheltering her hairs from the elements not to mention the purple color. Gonna let her go to the end of March for a full 16 weeks. I already know it's not gonna be big and red and hairy like the summer runs but hoping the cooler weather held on to more of that pine taste.
Damn! Looking good!
