Hello guys,
Just a simple question. Are my buds rotting or not?
The strain is watermelon weddingcake XXL autoflower.

Black/purple coloration on ALL buds, top bud has weird brown stuff.

Some leavestems are purple instead of green?

That ain’t bud rot. They just started flowering. You don’t get bud rot till you have dense buds. It looks good. Someone will chime in

My one plant had some severe purple stemmage goin on which i realized i was over stressing it way too much. Just makin a bunch of newb mistakes but it’s comin around now. Still some there but huge improvement.

I don’t think it looks normal! Budrot will be soft and mushy crap that pulls out of the bud easy! When you actually have a bud!

Could just be a genetic trait giving it that color. I've grown purple and pink Kush that do that. In the ones I have done it slowly spreads to the rest of the plant until it looks like this

Thats quite possible but i looked at pictures at the growers site and none had purple hence my question, also my 1st real grow so i don't know a bunch yet.

Also, i grow outside so the weather isnt always the best.

I dont do anything with it. Havent topped it, no lst, no defoliation since the stems are already spreaded out, water and food when her pot is very very light and thats it. So i wouldn't think its stress.

Thanks!! Ill update in 2.5 weeks. Ill be on vacation from tomorrow and my friend will take over the watering etc.

You'll know when u encounter it. Fresh buds are slimy in the inside of the buds. Some look like a dense spiderweb, (mold, before it becomes slime).
Always found in the nicest buds, it seems.

Found that bud, and a few others while helping my neighbor trim his crop. He's lucky he didn't have more. 3 solid days of rain, followed by 5 consecutive days of clouds and no wind. Not a speck of sunshine.

They were wringing wet, dripping on the floor of his garage.
