High from So. Oregon yessir it's been very hot. Good luck entering bloom.Well here’s my western Oregon update, it’s generally been warmer and dryer but all the ladies are doing well.
I’m doing a little supplemental fertilization as they shift into bloom phase but not much and I really don’t need to encourage growth.
Seeing more pistils the terminals are really tightening up so they’re about to launch into full bloom.
First two pics are just general shots

You can find the egg sacks on Amazon for somewhere between $25 - $45.I looked up buying some for the garden, they are expensive! But awesome for plant protection, like little hit men
I actually havent seen a male plant in person in like 8 years, butView attachment 2498273

Maybe they aren’t the invasive species type! I’m just saying you need to do your due diligence as with all things! You can get them other places than Amazon! I am all for getting some domestic mantis! Why is Amazon allowed to sell these?
Yeah people really shouldn't listen to me. Most of my advice is pretty shitty.Maybe they aren’t the invasive species type! I’m just saying you need to do your due diligence as with all things! You can get them other places than Amazon! I am all for getting some domestic mantis!
Not saying that! Amazon pay allegiance to China! Amazon doesn’t have a social conscience! But as buyers we do have a say in it! If you dig hard enough, you can find out the facts! Instead of just hitting, buy now! Amazon used to list the country of origin! Now it just says imported! I’ve got a problem with supporting the Chinese war machine! Amazon doesn’t! Just two cents! I order a shit load of stuff off of Amazon! But I do my damnedest to find out where it’s coming from!Yeah people really shouldn't listen to me. Most of my advice is pretty shitty.
Shit! Now I had to look that up. And from what I see in many cases the only way to tell is by their scientific name Tenodera sinensis is the invasive Chinese. Stagmomantis carolina is our American native. Not saying that! Amazon pay allegiance to China! Amazon doesn’t have a social conscience! But as buyers we do have a say in it! Jeff Bezos is a great American. His wedding was through the roof. He’s a guy who doesn’t give a fuck about anyone or anything but himself. He’s right up there with Walmart, ripped the heart out of America, for himself and shareholders.but that’s my opinion.
It just doesn’t hurt to try and show a little responsibility! Weather for mantis sacks or a shirt! If you’re gonna rely on Amazon or Walmart to have your best interest in mind, you’re crazy! Right on, Jimmie! Fuck the man! Don’t make it easy for them!Shit! Now I had to look that up.
