So originally when starting out with my personal grow a few months back I started with a single permanent marker auto using dwc and had issue after issue. Mainly ph I believe because it would raise over a few hours time regardless of what I done. When I had my motorcycle accident and was down for the most part and I think the light I was using at the time with such high intensity being left on for 2 weeks due to the accident while in the hospital stunted the growth of specimen number 1 and I eventually gave the complete setup to a close friend of mine as he wanted to try it out. July 19, 2025 I decided to start an new seedling of the pm auto strain just to see if it would make any difference in soil or if there was something else going on that I wasn’t getting right. 1 month in and she’s started flower and I’ve been amazed every day how much she changes every day. Attached is just a pic and short video of where she’s started a week in and where she’s at now. The soil I am using through out the grow is Mother Earth “Grounds Well” in a 3 gallon container I picked up from Home Depot along with general hydroponics flora series nutes twice a week and a new foliage spray used between feed days. Don’t mind the 5 gallon container as it is prepped for fast buds gorilla cookies this week. I plan to do post a new grow thread on it ones the tap root starts emerging to where I think it should be and start a full diary on it as I’ve not had the time since my wreck in June to do as much here so if interested, follow along there as well. Now keep in mind, there has been no defoliation whatsoever on this permanent marker auto and I’m allowing it to do what it wants on a 20 hour light schedule as it seems to work best with the autos in soil so far for me. I am open to thoughts and suggestions anywhere along the way so if you have anything I should add along please reach out or comment on how you feel things are going for the first month.
