I have a few Devil Driver (or devils reserve? I forget. Same breeder anyway, and similar strain) growing. They are massive, two colas each plant, each 10.5’+ tall, outdoors. Super healthy. But they are taking FOREVER in flower. They’ve been well into flower for over a month, but the buds literally look like they’re two weeks old. Remember about the size; if I harvested today, I’d likely get less than 1/4oz total per plant. I can’t really find anything about it taking long, so I was curious if anyone else has come across this. With roughly a month left in the season, I’m having doubts that this girl will provide. All of my other plants are well on track. I have a plant in a pot next to this devil (they’re both in cloth pots) that is delicious and almost looks like it’s ready to harvest (obv won’t, but she’s providing!). I feed them exactly the same, all organic, but she’s got such sprightly buds. I don’t want to use a bud booster if I can help it, and maybe in the next week or two she’ll surprise me? I sure hope so. Of the two plants, devil is on the right.

I have not grown this strain, but I am confused as to why these plants are so bare. Why are you only cultivating the tops of these giant plants? So many of those pruned lower branches would also produce nice colas. This size of plant should be producing at least 20x the amount being shown here, just going off the fan leaves without branches.

I went back to look at your other grows. You've been at this for awhile and honestly there's something not right with what your doing. I see nothing super healthy nor massive, your words. I'm not trying to be mean i'm just a honest commentor. Sure they are tall but healthy they are not. Either they don't get the long enough direct sunlight or you don't feed them right could be both.
Yes they do look like 2wk old buds, so they need more light and warmth.

Healthy in that they are extremely tall and have no visible deficiencies. They get full sunlight some time between 8-9am and full on until sunset (Massachusetts). The one on the left has huge buds and is right on track. The one on the right tho. I'm growing one of those elsewhere, and am having the same issue with it. Like I said, I feed both plants the same. I fear I may have been overly aggressive with my pruning this year.

Good morning I’ve been reading along about the lack of buds being produced by your plants. So I’ll back this up to the beginning of Aug. so in my area S.E Ontario I would typically see my plants starting to flower somewhere during that week and some plants were a bit slower yet this year some didn’t start until Aug 25. It was very hot this year compared to previous years which I thought was the culprit but I’m just guessing on that difference. I m stoned i hope I didn’t confuse you.

It has been an odd grow season this year, for everything. All of my friends' plants and gardens were behind (weed and not weed). My moms tomatoes took forever to come in, some friends lost a lot of plants. It was super cold here the start of the season and everything was stunted; my plants at one point at the beginning of the season were nearly half the size that they'd been in years past at that point. They've caught up in height, but the rest just isn't there for a lot of them. I'm hoping that they're just delayed. I can push probably another 3 weeks or so before it gets too cold, so I guess it's just a wait and find out. I don't think it's my nutes, using the same stuff I've used in years past.

I don't think your issue is weather related.

I agree with @Galgrows. If you look at your plants, the leaves are hanging limp and are pointing down. This is your plant telling you that something in the root zone isn't right. The soil looks dry but that can be a false indicator. Please tell us more about your watering/feed routine. How much water and how often are you watering them? We need this information to help us figure out what is troubling your grow.
