I've been using only flora from GH since the 2nd week of flower along with cal-mag. Am I doing a disservice by using only flora? Is nitrogen still needed? I feel like the label is, um, er... , duh.... , um... , let's see... , BULLSHIT! 😬. I'm on my 2nd grow so, of course, I know damn near everything right? 😜.
Please shoot me some advice on this. I'd greatly appreciate aid from the many knowing members here.
Thanks

Demand for phosphorus increases in flower. Flora Gro is 2-1-6. I give a more balanced feed, even post-stretch. I think the GH label is OK for ratio, but generally too much for amount, but that depends a lot on your plants.

Flora trio. I didn't know there were so many "formulas".

I believe I should have been adding grow as well as flower. I'll begin feeding with grow too. I don't see a sign of N deficiency but I bet I didn't do myself any favors by eliminating N from the diet.
Thanks

Here is the trio feed chart. Are you doing anything different?
Just choose trio. I am looking over a copy

Seems straight forward
It is pretty straight forward. It's the nutrient program I use and I love it because its easy to use, effective, and cheaper than many of the other nutrient line-ups. I use the 6 part program at the aggressive feed strength and then dilute it down to half strength. I use all bottles in the program. It's meant to be used that way. Your plants will not have a complete diet if you don't.

Edit: the 3 part program is effective enough for most growers. Just use all 3 bottles (Green, purple, and pink) and then add cal-mag at 2 ml per gallon.

Here's a jpeg image of the feed chart.

I use the trio and I followed the label up until 3weeks ago when I went to only the gro/green. The only difference is that I dose for 2 gallons and my watering can is 2.5 gallons so I'm a bit light. The same week I flipped went to only grow bottle and calmag as I do each feeding. I bottom water most of the time fwiw.
I added the other nutrients yesterday and will continue to do so until I flush.
Another variable is my soil which I recycled from the last grow after removing the majority of the roots and recharging with nutrients. This worked out better than I could ask for.
I created nutrient lockout on my 1st grow and it was a learning experience. My plants were mid veg and just stopped growing. Nothing else wrong except the growth stopped. A friend suggest lockout so I flushed and the plants took off. Weird but it made me gun shy on this grow so I've dosed down.
Thanks

I wouldn't add more nitrogen than necessary. Soil likes to take it's time with nutes so by the time you see weird growth or dark green leaves from tox, it's been there for a week or so. Fixing it takes the same amount of time so by the time you'd fix it, its been 2 week at least.

They indeed still need all macro's and micro's in flower, so the ratio gets bend a bit, but not a lot. Lets say 2:1:4 in veg, becomes 1:2:4 in flower. It'll also have more Sulfur for instance. All you do now is get that PPM/EC on point. Somewhat follow the manufacturer's chart and rather underfeed than overfeed. Like spice during cooking you can always add more but you cant take it out.

If you think the manufacturer is bullshiting you, choose a different one.

Edit: if you REALLY want to add nitrogren, add some Silicium. Plagron Silic Rock has 1:0:0 and it's very good for your plants in general.

The 1-2-4 ratio just seems like a lot of N? Micro has the most so a dose of 2 kinda gets me back to my locked out situation in my head.
I'm stocked up on GH so I don't see changing things up IYKWIM.
