Does anyone use stakes instead of scrog net in tent? I'm thinking of using them as more flexible can take plants out of tent for pruning

I used large tomato cages for that reason. They give you a great place to tie branches to for LST and allow you to move the plants in and out of the tent for care.

I use Kenex cause I have about 30 lbs of them.
I have also used a trellis above the grow to lasso and pull flowers up into a better light area.

Training techniques all work. Just be careful not to put an eye out.
