Here's the 2nd African .. a bit behind the 1st one. The branch you can't see got it's pistils ate by a purdy green grasshopper. Oreo, my black & white cat ate the hopper so at least the pistils didn't go to waste haha.

Not weed related, but wanted to show off my moon flower 🤍 They bloom at night but stay until about 9am, before wilting. Some teenagers have tried eating it (Not from my yard!!) & didn't make it. :'(
It supposedly has a psychedelic effect... I'd prefer mushrooms 🍄 just sayin'

. I just want to say that I'm really happy to see someone posting your growing in New Mexico. Love to see people in NM getting represented. I use to live in Southwest NM for about ten year's after highschool (2008 or so till 2017/2018.) lived about 5 miles away from a place called silver city at the foot of the Gila wilderness (National Park). When I lived there it was not legal to grow and I found it quite hard to find choice buds without having to go threw 5 different middle men or having to drive to las Cruces or something. (Silver City New Mexico is it geographical oddity where it is 3 hours in every direction from any "real" city) So I grew my own or tried to with not much success. Best I ever did was 3 plants in one run I got about 1 1/2 oz each. So I'm looking forward to reading this and seeing where you had success and difficulties and were they overlap with mine. Keep doing your thing and all the best to you my Grow-migo

@TooSweet518 Nice to meet you!
Yep... We only went state legal a few yrs ago. We had to wait until our then Governor had her husband's grow facility set up first! Ugh. I hate politics lol. All of it. But, I do love NM. Born in N Cali but have been living in Southern NM for the past 35 yrs. I love the Gila!!! We've primitive camped up there 2wks at a time when we were younger! Was going to buy a shop in Silver... But it fell thru. Probably a good thing. Lol NM is hard core growing lol. Are you growing now? Please do a grow diary of you are💚 it's a little intimidating seeing all the huge plants this group grows but The growers here on this forum are fantastic & always willing to help💚 I grew clones last year & got bunches more off 2 plants than I've gotten so far off 2 plants from seed this year. But, I'm ok with that .. I'm learning as I go. Hoping these 2 Africans will finish in time. They seem like they will produce more than the godfather's did.
When I was cleaning to jar up one of the plant had a small cocoon & some poop. I didn't bud wash those, But I will on the last 2 plants. Haha
Anyway, I'm glad your here!!

That's crazy to hear about the governor thing you were talking about I'd love to hear more about it or if you have a link to an article or something. I am growing in upstate New York. It's tricky here because by the second week of September it's already starting to get pretty cold and it rains a lot. I lost this one plant to Botrytis. That pic with me in it was taken a few weeks before but it was almost 70' tall and I estimated I lost roughly two inches of more from that. But I have another one finishing up and I have seedlings inside in the grow tent. Whereabouts in New Mexico are you. Also if you dealing with consistent 5-day stretches of 100 plus I would recommend getting some of that black semi see through plant fabric and stringing it up kind of like a shade so you're not just getting torched 100% of the day. Also most pest bugs and things hate cinnamon like ants and other bugs mint also keep a lot of stuff away and it grows anywhere. Take it easy gromigo

Whoops sorry @Greg_Midi we're a bit over 43,000 lol...
Last time I got that high I was in an Airbus 320 watching William Shatner on the screen.

It doesn't really require math skills, google will give you your altitude if you type in where you live. I ask because out west here elevation plays a big role in what your climate is like.

I went down a bunny eye candy trail looking for this pic. Haha. Can you put it here again? I'm afraid of ladders lol, so I'd have a hard time, not being able to get over the 2nd step haha. I do love looking at them 💚 I've got a pic of my mom & her gf at a illegal weed farm in Cali. Next to a giant 💚

Anyway can't with all that malarkey
