Man I wanna spread these plants out so bad, can't wait to flip these girls!

Everything continues to go well!

Temperature is starting to drop a bit, but still haven't been below 21 degrees celcius.

Humidity has been up to around 80%, a bit worrying, but I don't see any mildew or the like.

I continue to keep the light at around 40cm/16inches from the canopy. Good thing they are moving out soon because I can only raise the light about 4 more inches.

I need to start giving them more water at a time. I will increase volume to 2L every 3-4 days moving forward.

I removed the bottom two sets of fan leaves on all branches. I left all the little side branches for now. Reason being that I don't want to promote even more stretch. If the plants will "waste" some energy on the lover side branches that will be removed later on, that will be a good thing. Don't want the plants to get any taller than they have to.

I don't expect the WW to hang more than a maximum of 10 days, so far they have been hanging for 5 days. I should then be able to move the plants into the flower tent in max 5 days.

Yep, these are on track to flip, they too can't wait..you can just feel it from them, eh! "Flip us Flip us FLIP US!" is what I hear from them, then they are def going to need to be spread out. If the moisture levels stay at 80% a dehumidifier wouldn't go amiss for peace of mind. Also can get things like this that also work relatively well to extract extra moisture.

Haha yeah I can hear them too 😝

I do plan on getting myself a dehumidifier. Had a bit of budrot in the WW preharvest and I really don't wanna risk a full cycle going to waste, so it's on the shopping list.

The plants has moved into their final resting area. ☠️🤠 ☠️

On Wednesday last week I moved the plants into their new home. I spread them out and tried my best to even out the canopy, but man, gotta say, it is not easy to manage such big plants. I had a few branches snap, but lets just pretend I wanted to super crop them anyway. Shit happens. 😆 Nothing too bad though. These girls are tough and I'm sure they will be just fine.

I started the light out at 50% and about 20 inches from the canopy. That turned out to be a mistake. I had lots of yellowing leaves and even some leaves curling, so I raised the light to about 24 inches and adjusted the light to 25%. They seem ok with that. I suppose I will begin to increase the light level in 5% increments slowly over time. Not sure how to best go about this?!

A few days before I moved the plants I changed the nutrients to BioGrow, BioBloom and Top Max. I stopped giving them root juice and they are now getting nutrients at 100% according to the feeding schedule.

I flipped the plants to 12/12 on Saturday, so they are going on the third day of flower today. I wanted to give them a few days to get used to the new light and to recover a bit after I spread them out.

I did a bit more LST after they had had time to readjust themselves towards the light.

Pictures kinda sucks. I gotta get a longer wire for my webcam, so I can take better pictures.

There we go, here comes the stretch hehe. They look happy mate well done. Now would be a good time to razor or pinch off 50% of the lateral growth from the bottom up. I usually just measure it top to bottom then ruthlessly remove the bottom 50% completely. Its always looks brutal but i never regret it or miss that popcorn boff anyway. That way the tops get EVERYTHING they deserve. Not sure about yours mate you may want to remove just 30-40% either way it wont be missed as she takes off. its all just hindering the stretch on your main canes. If you do it real soon it will coincide with the stretch real early. Some people don't like to do it as it feels a bit savage. But it always pays off in the end. Im enjoying watching these girls settle in. Will be fluffy white tops in just a few short weeks. Bloody lovely mate!

Heya Terpy, thanks a bunch for them kind words brotha! 🤠

I do intend to do a great deal of pruning, I don't like the tiny buds either. I do however, intend to allow them to stretch a bit before I do that. Reason being that I want the plant to not just stretch the main bud sites. I'm afraid that if I remove the small branches now, then the main branches will stretch even more?! Not sure if this is how it actually works, but my thinking is, if the plant has more bud sites then the plant will distribute it's energy to those bud sites and then kinda waste some energy on the lower branches that I will remove later. That way the branches that are already tall, won't grow as tall as if I remove the lower branches now. Makes sense?

Another week gone and here comes an update. 🤠

I just got the dehumidifer today, so hopefully I wont have to worry about humidity levels any more.

The light distance at this point is about 50-70cm above the canopy. I don't have much room to raise the light. I have increased the light level to about 35-40% and will continue to increase it slowly until I reach a point where I can no longer raise the light or increase the strength without the plants showing signs of light stress.

Nutrients going according to the schedule. Still feeding 2L at a time every 4 days or so.

Another week, another update. 🤠

I haven't done much since last update, just waiting for the stretch to be done so I can do some pruning and defoliation. I think it will happen sometime around the next update.

I have increased the light to about 55% and at 50-70cm above the canopy. No signs of light stress!

I'm a bit disappointed by that dehumidifier that I got. While I had it running constantly, I still managed to get RH values above 80%!!!! It has been raining a lot, I thought that the dehumidifier would solve that problem. Not sure if I just got a really bad one or if I need a bigger one. Maybe I can fit it inside the tent and that might help?!

Water and nutrients are still going at 2L per feed and at 100%.

So far I'm very happy with the bud formations. Looks like it will be a very good harvest this one. 😀

We got a bit of a bug problem on our hands boys. As you can see in the last picture, I have some thrips in the tent. It's not too bad and I hope I can get away with just doing nothing?!?! I don't really wanna spray anything or water them down or whatever. I might buy some of those yellow sticky traps, but besides that I hope that it won't get out of hand. If this sounds like a garanteed failure please let me know and I will change my course. I only ever had thrips in the early stages before and I never did anything to get rid of them, they just disappeared by them selves. So the plan is to just observe and see if it gets worse.

Besides that all seems good. I already see some trichomes developing and the bud size is very good taking into account that they are only just over three weeks into flower.

The light is going at 75% now and I think I will keep it there. I see a little bit of yellowing on the sugar leaves that are closest to the light. I think it will be fine here. I will continue to observe and see if anything changes.

Water and nutrients still going 2L and 100% according to schedule. I did see a few leaves with some discoloring, not sure if it's a nutrient thing or if it's something else. It was not so much that I want to make any changes to the nutrient schedule. I will keep an eye out for that too.

Edit:
And by the way I did lolipop the plants too. I removed every branch and fan leave beneath the trelis rings. I did that a few days ago.
