Haha I don't know if it's an OCD thing like Monk but any time I see a plant pointing toward the sun Im the asshole plant parent who turns it facing away. Come on Rocky you want that light you gotta WORK for it! 🤣

So with a young plant that little stem is gonna be a little springy and if it grows a little slanted toward the light, not a big deal you rotate it 180 degrees to make it grow toward the other direction, you can also bury some of the stem and straighten it. Ultimately you want to watch your plant from the time it's a baby from an engineering standpoint because it is going to have to support a lot of bud weight down the road, and how you train it and let it grow will determine what kind of supports you are going to have to add later to keep it upright. But to correct this issue now, just make sure the plant is placed squarely under the light.

[Best Crocodile Dundee voice]: "That's not a lean..."

"....Now that's a lean!"

No worries Mate, that's not enough lean to worry about. Plants bend and
lean and then they straighten out.

As others have said, turn it away from the light & it'll grow back towards it.

If it's in danger of falling over, or has fallen over; or just for peace of mind,
make a reverse shepherds staff with a bread tie or piece of electrical wire
and prop it up. 👊🐙

I would say now is a great time to transplant this lady into her next home. She needs room to stretch her roots. What you probably have is some cramped roots in that red solo cup, mate. Happy trails….

No shit?....

Problem is is that they're for the red solo xmas challenge. I'm trying to keep them in the solo's at least until Oct 31st.

I'm actually going to experiment with flowering all of these in the red solos with continuous flow irrigation.

Stay tuned 👊🐙

Hey FloridaMike,
Are you ok? You seem to be a bit angry over someone trying to offer advice. Perhaps you need to spark one up and relax. In your original post you did not mention it was for a Solo Cup challenge. Providing the full info might help, just saying….

Well its been mentioned a few times as @Florida_Mike is all around the Farm. No worries @Merkle dont be alarmed, @Florida_Mike hands are ceased up a bit this morning and could only handle rolling one joint 😂
In the nicest way possible......not everyone is looking for advice. Hang around a while longer you'll get a feel for who is who 👊🏼

Not angry.... just an ass at times when it comes to unsolicited "woulda's" and "shoulda's" and the like from people who don't take the time to get to know who I am and what I'm about before offering such advice.

My post & pics were in response to the op wondering if he should be worried about a minor lean in his seedling; it had nothing to do with whether or not my plant needed transplanting. The pic was to show that they can be bent completely over and still straighten up and be fine.

Didn't mean to offend; apologies ✌️. And believe me; I imbibe way more than my fair share during all waking hours, day and night. 😆👊🐙
