A Glitterbomb clone stood out in the lineup of clones at my local weed store. Snatched it up and brought it home. Realized, it has mites!

After some neem oil and lady bugs going to war with them, they disappeared. Then my clone started looking pale and sad.

I work 60 hours a week quite frequently, and didnt have time to investigate until most of the leaves had either fallen off or looked sickly. 3 months later and im almost to harvest and have decided to grow outside every year ( next time with some light dep and a greenhouse, since the weather in the coastal regions of oregon is not ideal for finishing strong).

Anyways, good to be here and hope to post a journal soon.

Forgot to mention it ended up being rootbound in one of those synthetic cubes and i had to free willy and get it in a nice airy soil mix(coco, sand, paydirt)

Looks like one side of the plant may have gotten more sun? Appears the calyxes are swelling a bit. Hairs have turned and are pulling in, mainly on that one side. I wanna see a fair amount of amber trichs on her before I cut. Im not sure it has swelled up fully yet?

welcome! Mind body and spirit!😆✌️

good luck with the weather coming! where you at in the world? we’ve got weather coming next week, NorCal.

Thanks for the love everyone. Im up on the oregon coast a ways. Have a brother in law in garberville. I only have one plant and it is on my deck. I have an umbrella mounted to a 5 gallon bucket to block the rain and thinking about a heater nearby until it is done ripening.

Had to take one lower branch the other night. Still a bit light but also smelling amazing. The rest of her is exploding at the moment but time is running out.... 39 degrees tonight.

We are supposed to have some sprinkles tomorrow. Temps have been in the 50-60 degree range in the daytime and down to the 30s at night. We are only supposed to get rain on Sunday and it's "supposed" to be sunny for one more week.

So far, they have been right. I want to reach peak ripeness, so onward I go. After reading an article written by a 40 year veteran artisan hash maker about plant selection and harvesting time, I am wanting to see more amber than I would normally be looking for.

In the past on indoor grows(never finished outdoors successfully without mold), I've waited for the Milky trichomes and a splash of amber , like the picture above. Going forward, Im waiting to see the plant change. Im looking for alot more amber. Im waiting for ...... peak ripeness.

This is the link to part one of Dimensions of Ripeness. Good read and may have changed the way I harvest going forward.

2 more sunny days... Then comes the rain. Gonna wait until the last possible moment to harvest. I would let the last half in this picture go even longer if it werent the beginning of a months worth of rain
