Go to the store and get you a motion activated Halloween witch or some shit. Cause looking at that plant you got some days to go if you can swing it. If they nab it then at least maybe they'll shit themselves. Or even better, wake you up.

Leave the dog out....place 2x4's with nails sticking up....put a motion sensor attached to a strobe light....and a recording of someone firing a Tommy gun....and a camera so you can record the person shitting there pants.

Dig a 10ft hole, lay 10 small brittle sticks across the hole. Set an area rug over the sticks. Leave a big pair of shears on the carpet. Go in the morning and check to see if you caught anybody
Sleep outside for 2 weeks when I got super flu (can’t use the C word) and for a month when my cat was sick/dying (and wouldn’t come in for some weird reason). Granted I have decent gear and it was summer. But for just a few days break, out the s’mores.
