Hey,

Just trying some gorilla glue auto's organic soil grow for the first time with spider farmer set up (SE5000).

Things got off to a pretty slow start but got a couple to get going. All seemed stunted at first. Soil was approx a mix of 25% part vermicompost, compost, coco coir and perlite. Added Cal/mag and trace elements. Run off EC 0.9 Ph 6.5. Ph seems to be creeping up so watering with 5.8 ph water.

Currently day 25. Leaves started to show some bleaching. Thought possibly light/heat stress? Any ideas? Any advice appreaciated, cheers!

RH - 58%
Temp - 27 degrees
Light intensity - started at 50%, currently at 75%
Light was at 24 inches but have increased sinced noticed bleaching.
Should I just pull mutant?
Possibly need more nitrogen?

Gave first nutrient feed day after I noticed bleaching.

So what I can see based on your set up is that your plants seem to very far from your light source. Perhaps moving the light gradually over the next couple of days to see what you get.

Ok.
Organics in coco.
Yes it can be done but it is a very specific technique.
Coco and peat mixes have a few problems that you will need to overcome. Coco is an inert growing media with some bad habits of holding on to some nutrients like mag and calcium. It will need to be amended to slow this down.
Was the coco buffered or pre charged with any 4 4 4 soak or anything?
Coco needs to remain wet as dry coco has no oxygen.
Peat needs a wet/dry cycle to grow organic nutrients into a useable form and to recharge the oxygen cycle.

Hit the 3 horizontal bars top left and navigate to forums and then grow diaries. Once in diaries use the spyglass feature to search for coco and soil or coco and peat mix.
Lot of tears in this category but a few folks have broken the code and have gotten ok production with this hybrid media.
Straight coco and chemical fert will far surpass the hybrid setup for growth and I say that as an organic soil grower.

Thanks for the advice. Yeah the coco was hydrated ready to use, enriched with cal/mag. The idea was to use as a soil additative to improve aeration and drainage. But by the sounds probably should have just kept it soil or coco? What do you think about leaves? I thought it may be lights so raised them really high. Bleaching? seems to have stopped. I thought the yellowing of the lower leaves might be a nitrogen deficiency. I tried a low nute foliar spray to see of they would improve.

Agree, I just got worried when I saw damage on leaves so raised it really high. Will start to lower again and monitor. Any idea about leaves?

The leaves look bad but I have not done enough study on the way to run this setup. That is why I gave you the link process to look for a way to save the grow. I do see curl and leaf stress from the light and it looks like you handled that.
The mix has problems exchanging oxygen and this will cause swings in PH as random as any DWC buckets.

The biggest issue with diagnosing this is it looks like nutrition fade on the lowers, good top growth and signs of previous overwater as you can still see the puffy fans lower. The mix is tough to water. Any suggestions may throw you into a ditch or fix it and be the hero.
Best I can do is recommended study on this grow and find someone who gots the pictures to prove it

It seems to me on most pot forums folks are too quick to recommend anecdotal fixes for grow types they do not have experience with. That ask no questions and make recommendations from a random pic that sometimes is a disaster.
You will find out quickly who wants and can help vrs who wants to help but is really not able too.
I got no problem saying I am not sure.
Now go straight organics in soil and I can show the pics.

Idk I grow in coco only and every time I see someone try this amended coco thing it seems to fail. But would love to see someone make it work for sure lol

Normally in coco as long as you have holes somewhere in your pot it’s impossible to overwater. But then having compost and stuff in their monkey wrenches that part so you’d have to let it dry back and god my heads spinning it’s too early lol

I don't know if it would qualify as amended coco... grown in FF coco loco with Natures Living Soil added to create what NLS calls a "living soil".

Have you found any successful grows on this site using this mix?

Have you found any successful grows on this site using this mix?
Successful as in got some bud yes.
Success that we got frosty tight nugs that got us spaced no.
A while ago I dove down for a guy and came up with a couple of older posts where the runs got to mid flower and stopped posting.
Numerous grows where it started and got repotted in soil or straight coco.
And every once in a while I do get comments from members here when dealing with this same situation. This comes up 2- 3 times a month. Some guys play like they have successfully done this but when you dm them you get no response and when you answer their post the grower bails.
Just a few times but enough for me to smell bullshit.
