Hi mates, here is the situation:

My gal is in her 4th week from sprout almost 5th week, she is a one gallon pot with a soil mix with perlite and coco. I water the gals when the soil feel dry. She is under 18 hrs of lightning under 500 ppfd.

I transplanted the gal on the begining of 3rd week, then i fertilized her.. now pls take a look at the photos, she still has yellow tips. I make my own urine fertilizer which i might "over dosed".

I was afraid she will be shock if i top her, then I decided to give her a lst instead.

Here are my questions:

1. she will be my mother plant, how shall i train her and top her for the ideal condition?
2. has she recovered from her over fertilized? Shall i feed her nutes in 3-4 days?

Thanks for reading my post, I do appreciate for ur help.

Usually leafs dont recover but new growth becomes normal.
As for trening lots of lst soo you have lots to cut for clones

IF you want you can train mainline depends on how much time you want to invest.pure lst is fastest but plants gonna be uneven
You can see in my diary its in the bottom

thx for the reply..

for a mother plant I'm running the gal 18 hrs of light of 500 ppfd. Is it too low for a mother plant at vegetative stage?

I would highly suggest you not use urine as your source of nitrogen. There is too great a risk of pathogens, and the levels if not diluted right are toxic to a plant. Don't get me wrong I've pissed in a watering can before too, it's a rite of passage like eating a deer heart 🤣 but there's better ways to get N to your plant.

If the pics are after your fix, it hasn't fully recovered yet. Posture still has a general sagging / clawed appearance. It also has some puffiness, closed stomata which can be from overwatering, stress or VPD (or a combination of the above)

I would hold off doing any training until the plant overcomes it's current stress before you introduce more.

I think 500 is a great number for a mother but based on the maturity of plants in the images I think 400 would be a better number right now. Looks like you are losing a little color in the pleating as the mag is getting used up faster than the plant can put it back.

Bro, thx for your reply... I've just done my feeding today... i guess my plant has to suffer from toxication for a little while longer... I'm a organic grow believer newbie.. what shall I use as substitue for nitrogen fertilizer to replace my urine?

I better dim my light let her recover for a little... here is the photo of today after my feeding. the bottle leaves r a bit dry and yellow.. not sure what's happening right now.

by the way she's in her 5th week, so it will be great that if you can tell me when I can do my cuttings..

pls comment..

You got access to animal shit? If not buy a bottle of any nutes designed for green plants.

Hi pal, don't get me wrong i didn't piss directly onto my gal.. I did proper way of turning my own urine into fertilizer by adding molasses and yeast etc. is my gal looking healthier than before?

also, I can get access to animal shit, it's inside the pot already, I'm using urine as a weekly feeding to boost the grow.

@amneziaHaze @Ninjadogma this is the photos of today, one day after my organic feeding... i did a bit of lst... i guess they not healthy enough for cuttings right?

organics work slow.and any damaged leaf will stay the same.you can only hope the new growth is better or that the old growth doesn't get worse

You won't get it back to normal I hate to say it. I would do a heavy flush with water to remove all the salts built up and to bring the soil towards the alkaline side instead of the acidic side caused by urine. For nitrogen you can use weeds from outside like dandelions and clovers. You can let sit in water for a week to two weeks to make a tea. Or you can follow some of the guys on here doing full organics or live soil as well. The urine is harmful for the microbiology as well so normal water will get you further then what you are doing now.

Organic would use things like fish oils, bat guano, kelp, ECT. I do some organic stuff for my veggie garden during the summer. You can use banana peals for potassium, you can use eggshells and vinegar to make calcium acetate, and you can use Epsom salts for the magnesium. Doing organic things is not a precise science, so you will never have a desired outcome until you actually look into a living soil biology first

Hi pal, I've already flushed my gal, I have animal manue also in the soil, i will use that as nitrogen... i'm saving my leaves to make tea... hope everything will turn out ok...
