Hi, can anyone help identifying this deficiency. I've lost seedlings twice already. These have it now and I'm pulling my hair out. Any advice will be much appreciated
Help identifying deficiency on seedlings

Hi, they're in canna terra soil and just feeding canna start and rhizotonic at the moment. pH is 6.0. led light a meter away reading 300 moles. Temp is between 22-23° and humidity at 55

She is too small to have deficiencies in soil, specially if youre feeding food for seedlings and the EC is 0,8 it should be fine. Try rising the PH a little bit, maybe go to 6,2 or 6,5. Did you recalibrate your PH meter? Light seems to be mild too so... I cant think of anything else than PH or a pest.

At below 6 ph you enter the danger zone for soil as alumina becomes water soluble and can intoxicate your plants if theyre small. I would only go to 6 PH or less using coco. Also is not the recommended PH for soil, 6,2 for veg and 6,5 for flower.

Your not using calmag right? If its canna terra professional plus it comes with a lot of calcium buffered for most of the grow. Tap water or osmotized? If tap water, let the chlorine evaporate, whats the EC of your tap water? If its RO then you might need to start using base NPK at a very low dose as RO water very little minerals to feed the plant.

I've been using RO water, just tested it and it's 0.6 ec before adding anything. Just canna professional, not the plus. Do you think it could be magnesium deficiency? I have calmag. Maybe I'll try making some up in a spray bottle.

I can only assume.
At .6 ec its like spring water.
300ppm.

Ro will be 0 or in my case 15-16ppm and stripped.

Canna start and the riz stuff looks good for starting plants.

Then you would switch to veg stuff still using the riz additive.

Personally I would just use the veg and skip the start but whatever, it’s your choice.

So not sure what’s the .6 in your water.
Spring water has label.

Ro well that’s zero and I would calmag all my ro to 150-160 ppm. ( .3 -.32 ec)

Maybe you need to change your RO filters unless youre buying from a commercial brand in which case is probably not RO because many come with minerals. For everything else what the gentleman smokey said.
