Mine don't smoke the weed i grow either.

All 3 of my sons tried some of mine. 2 don't really do weed any more and the third is VERY occasional.

My oldest passed some to one of his buddies who shared with another buddy. One went to sleep, the other went home and went to sleep. My son was killing himself laughing because both these guys are pretty heavy smokers.

What's so funny to me is when someone would offer up "homegrown" when I was young it was usually thought of as shit weed, green, cough your head off stuff. Today it's a whole new game. My son kept telling me this isn't your 70/80's weed anymore old man or even his late 90's weed. He was right.

I have smoked Thai Stick in Thailand way back when. It was good but not as good as some black weed from the (dare I @Oldchucky, why yes I dare) Philippines, which was some wild stuff.
That must of been an experience. Always wanted to go to Thailand. I tried some ooey gooey about ten years ago, now days Ill take a trip every blue moon with some mushies lol, or have a few drinks. I just can't party like I used to.

I smoked it here in sunny so cal mid-late 70's. $15 a small stick (eight oz) to $25-35 for a large one, probably a quarter oz. Usually worth every penny😉 but I'll take the shit I'm growing today over anything I've ever had. Taste, THC%, pain relief, I like it😉

I got alcohol poisoning one time and i thank my best friend in HS for taking me home to their house and not mine LOL. That was the last time i ever went over board on wine i was sick for 2days. OMG i can still taste it and smell it ewww.
Im in the exact some boat.....2 days at a friends who's older sister and Dad helped me out......Gin!!!!!

Was it "Mad Dog"? I've been there and with Wild Irish Rose too. Not something I wish to relive. Also don't mix J&D and Shrums, or I wouldn't advise it anyway.
I once mixed Pagan Pink Ripple with Crown Russ orange flavored vodka at 16 yrs old before a family dinner. Not even half way through dinner I was driving the porcelain bus. Never touched the stuff again🤣

A 5th of Jack Daniels did it for me, one New years Eve. Still sip a bit of "good" whiskey every now n then. Mostly lean towards rye whiskey, these days. But have always enjoyed the smoke, the most. Shooms n edibles don't phase me, neither does Codine for some reason.

I've smoked, eaten, and drank tea, from shrooms, all had a blast but me..but it was fun watching everyone else doing stupid stuff. 😆

I looked up somebody’s cbd plant and link which had info about his strain but also a link to making your own Thai stick.

I've had one of the plants on a wireless display table, spinning gently since day 1 in the 5 gallon pots. I've mixed feelings if it's doing anything. Tell ya what, I'll take a video tomorrow. (thanks for asking. 😉 )
It does help fill the buds out when the buds get to a point. Not much but a slight difference and helps from intensity spots. I used to use timed light tracks when I used 1000w hps and MH with the sun hoods. For LEDs I find it better just to fill the room up with lights instead, LEDs are better at evenly dispersing light and heat then how it used to be.

Northern Lights, day 55.
Think I've got 3 from one vendor and 1 from another.
The green leafy one is sooo different and behind the others. I'd suspect a photo, but the lights have been on 20/4.

Video of my dizzy girl.

Bud shot.

Hey cpur.

It's okay to pinch leaves off to open up the inside of the plant. Look for bigger leaves in the middle of the plant and pinch. It gives more light penetration and air movement which are both good things. I took about 6 leaves off the bottom and pointing towards the middle yesterday to open this plant up a lot.

I am a big fan of keeping every leaf I can but at some point you do have to open up the plant to air and light.
I do not trim fans during veg but mostly because I am new running organics and I almost never have fans in veg that need trimming LOL.
But this run I had 2 plants I kept green and glowing with lots of veg and fans and 3 weeks into flower we took a lot off and opened a lot up.
This resulted in a 2 day pause from the plant and then a recovery and a overall more by the plant to power the flowers
Here is plant before and after clearing up fans.

As you can see as the last 2 weeks progressed the plant got cleaner with more light getting lower.
And bigger buds.

I took a dozen lower leaves from each plant twice now. And more from the healthy one. The damaged leaves are only half there, so I was concerned they wouldn't be able to supply enough energy to the buds if I take some off.

Today is water day and I will take them out of the tent and trim before watering.
