Suspecting some of the cholorsis might be from high nitrogen levels. Going to run a soil test and see what im working with after 2 weeks of growth. Noticing a bit of possible nutrient/light burn on the edges of some of the larger fan leaves.
Got some nice growth and dark green leaves right next to yellowish leaves. Not sure how to evaluate that since your doing high stress but keep working her and I'll keep following.

From a watering standpoint, I think you might be using too little too often. Doesn't look like you are really running into trouble just yet, but try watering a little less often than every 3 days and working with a larger volume of water. You mentioned getting a peek at the soil nutrient levels, good idea. If you're only pouring 2/3 of a half gallon in, there's probably waste accumulating in there. General rule is about a gallon of water for a 5 gallon pot with a quart of it running out the bottom when you water, and a period of time in between to allow the soil to dry back some. Crazy good stuff happens in the dirt when you do a watering cycle like that. Right now those leaves look a little puffy like it's holding on to too much water, and you can only lean so much into good VPD and purging the excess through transpiration. Remember to always pour super slow for minimal soil and microbe displacement.

It's hard to beat fish...the real stuff, not the bottle of so called concentrate.

My garden is small, but like u, it gets a bunch of carcasses each year. Buckets of bluegill are buried around each plant I grew last year.

A dig with a shovel always reveals fish scale's 🤣

I hope you atleast kept them delicious filets before you burried them 😅. I have to watch it if im in with my hands ive pricked myself a few times on the bones. Things are like little needles.

Yeah that was what I generally run with my outdoor plants, a gallon deep water bout every 5 days. Just trying to figure out a good run since this is still establishing a larger root base. My moisture gauge reads red but when I dig their is still that damp moisture a couple inches down. When I do water I have a half gallon jug with the bottom cut out and I stick the cap end into the soil so it seeps in slowly.

Digging the bottle seep hack!

Where did you source the cut from, looking great. The guys here have been growing for decades, don't be to hard on them,
Dispensary up in Michigan. I can't remember off hand the company that the clones originate from. Oh for sure, sometimes guys just come in hard with opinions that weren't asked for lol. I just draw my line, it buffs out lol.

Yessir. I hold a family n friends fish fry every year.
Bones...yea. I learned about those my second year, when I walked thru my garden...bare footed. Those perch gill plates will F u up with a quickness. 🤣

DAY 20
72° F
58% Humidity
.9-1.1 VPD
Plant height 17"
Light height 15"
45%
4 days since last watering

Been doing a bit of LST trying to keep the main colas level, not going to be able to with the tallest leg but may top it at 24". Have a buddy who wants a few cuttings he's gonna run a mother plant and keep us stocked with cuttings for the foreseeable future.

Color differences on some leaves seem to be receding others fairly stagnant. Plenty of new growth and continues to shoot up. Ran a soil sample, unfortunately my soil kit doesnt break down to PPM but definitely running a surplus of nitro, phos, and potash. I may one day pull the trigger on a more in-depth soil kit.

Looks good man, organics are a fantastic way to grow. I don’t ever see myself switching. Something I’m noticing is a slight magnesium deficiency. The light chlorosis on the lowers somewhat looks like a tiger stripe is a good indicator. Easy organic fix is 1/2tsp of Epsom salts per gallon of water will clear it up. Should only need to apply it once and then likely again during stretch. A good amendment for magnesium is langbeinite for your next run. But with this being a test run you probably don’t care too much for that info..

Preciate it. Ill check into it. Ill be sticking with my organic as long as she pans out well at the finnish.

DAY27
Light adjusment to 65%
Pulled all the main colas back to open her up and help with hieght control. Height is going to be my biggest battle. 6 ft tent doesnt give much headway. If she does anything more than double on the stretch I will be out of room.

Things are looking good...but this is what I'm still seeing throughout your grow. I'm no pro, just an observation.

Which is odd becuase that is generally associated with PH imbalance but ive been holding steady at 7.5 the whole run. I guess iron deficiency shows similar symptoms but using a fish based compost i wouldn't think that would be an issue either. Ill have to try the Epsom salt trick and see if she darkens out.

I just looked into it more, 100% iron deficiency since my ph is so alkaline the iron absorption is minimal. Makes sense to becuase i notice it more towards the top of the plant. Gonna snag some chelated iron and see what it does after the next watering.
