I meant the new flowers coming up, sorry. It looks like tailing but i dont know, it's like the topmost branches kept stretching about an inch. Went from half browned pistils to full on new haircut.

The curling leaves were indeed a Ph issue at the time I also added PK (: In soil that wouldve been the end, with the reservoir it was stupid easy to fix.

The Purp should have been dead but the pebbles are kind of what's keeping her alive atm. Got a layer inside the pot and then the saucer filled with em. Kind of mimics the autopot. Since she has some root issues the soil has to dry out and i wanted 0 wasted roots. They seem to really enjoy it.

Been tying her down more so she's further from the light. Better than nothing.
Bout 20/80 clear to milky, 0 amber anywhere. Getting heavy.
Ph still 5.9-6.0, 2.2ec. No signs of water intake slowing down. Smell got some added vomit notes since late flower.

Day 87. Still not a single amber but she's white as snow. Regarding foxtailing I kept training her to the side and put the lamps on 17/7, tailing has stopped and the newest pistils have also started browning. She better be done soon.

Pic from yesterday (some middle/outer bud)

What would you do? I'm considering chopping her tomorrow or the day after.

She's been stinking up the room and a load of buds look ready even if there's no amber. About 90% of the original pistils have died. Not looking at the tailed ones. Branches getting heavy.
Been reading that for some common reasons trichomes on autoflowers could stay white up to the end.

She's on 16/8 now to stay on the safe side and added plain phed water to the res, lowering the ec towards harvest. Safe some money.

And back to the undead Purp. Day 75. A wonder she survived cause the soil has not dried out since last time and unfortunately gnats fkn love it. It's all roots in tray that kept her going. Put a layer of DE and a big ol sticky on top to mitigate the worst.
At least now I know how to keep em on life support if necessary when repotting is not an option.

Been mixing up a soil, testing it on my young tomatoes and pumpkins and they love it, so I'm giving it a try with the Northern Lights autos as well for outside and 1 Frostbanger inside. Going to germ in papertowels and sow directly in 2.6gal pots. Let the NL grow inside before going outside somewhere in april. Any suggestion is appreciated.

It's
5 parts generic potting soil 100 day amended
2 parts vermicompost
2 parts perlite
1 part basalt meal
Bout a tbsp of bone meal per gallon

Cooking it, mixing it up every ~3 days. Smelling nice and earthy. Going to mix in miccor the moment seeds go into the soil. Some clay pebbles at the bottom.
Got some lime just in case and still need kelp for topdressing.

Rest of the garden is going to get some nice cowshit and lime.

Took the purp down today. 82 days total.

Aside from that, while emptying out the tent i saw these in 2 corners.

Doesnt look like mold but cant find anything about it online.
Could this be because i use isopropyl to clean? When the square whatever you call it drip thing is in there on the bottom the airflow doesnt really reach inbetween.

Halfway day 11 she snapped so trimming has started. Been at it for a few and am at 3.7oz with at least half left to trim still.
Heard good things about them so I got some grove bags to store this time.

Final weigh in at prox. 8.56oz with 3oz of good thick buds. The other 5oz is a mix of mids and higher quality larf. Leftover 0.5oz is bottom of the bottom flacid larf that's in the smokejar.

Trim (no twigs or stems) is a guess at around 3.5oz compared to previous grows.

So, my experience with Apple Strudel to any who care. In summary:

Highly recommend this cultivar. Very easygoing with any type of training and had no signs of mold or fungi. Now i grew her in coco with an autopot so i dont know how she does in soil but it's probably worth it. If done 100% right i think you could get well over 10oz from just one.

She tastes the way she smells, very sour with sweet notes and just that dank that lingers after grinding. This one everyone here actually liked, smelled like candy. Is my favourite now as well.

A con would be her being quite fickle with lights and ec. She didnt appreciate any changes, but to see it as half full, she appreciates stability.
