So this is my white widow she is doing great and in early flower. Today I bent some tops over to keep them away from the heat and the intensity of the light. As this is a Vivosun smart grow box there is not much room but iv done the best I can. I am admittedly paranoid due to high temps (83-90 when lights on) I don’t think there’s any Nanners forming but this is only my second plant and I’m not sure weather these tops look normal. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. Yes I know the photos are bad.

That just looks like the start of some inner bud rind developing. Doesn't affect taste, smell or potency but could cost you some bud density. Sometimes it's genetic, can also be triggered by heat stress or getting silly with the Ca. Not nanners.

I'm not sure but in the third pic if you zoom in i think I see a nanner or two. My eyes suck nowadays so maybe someone with better eyes can confirm or deny. Definitely looks like some heat stress though.

Your G2G, take a breathe. We all have been there or will be if you grow long enough. Third pic btw looks like typical sugar leaf/foxtail and minor, very minor.. and with the extra white on top, aka its bleaching, but caught EARLY no worries. Just turn the light down a touch or raise it if you can, but def one or the other. While people are gonna chime in take AND post pics of the plant.. more details=better responses(less guesswork/bro-science lol)

I am not sure of the restrictions from growing in that type of box/setup. To help offset the heat, can you vent more? Can you relocate the tent itself to perhaps a cooler area like a basement? Or simply leave the flap open when lights are on,,

On plus side though, leaves colors look nice, no nute burn, even green throughout without veining etc.. and they are slightly praying. Your doing good and should pat yourself on the back..

Thanks I appreciate the feedback. Iv lowered my light intensity to 70 thats definitely helping with the heat. I live on the second floor in an apartment so my options are limited where I can grow.

I grow in a 1brm apt upstairs. What a pain in the ass for the old man when I have to haul up a large bale of promix..lol

At one point my living room was a 4x8,4x4,2x4, and 2x3. Running 3 flower tents and feeding them with the small veg tent clones. Its amazing what a little obsession can cause but I've grown a lot of weed in the past few years.

looking great in general def got the stretch where it needed to be, Great lolipopping.. I do have a suggestion/tip .. You need to defoliate some,, not alot but a good ten leaves:

See how this is just shaded? Your light cannot make it through the upper canopy thus your not getting the full/more potential from the plant. From your last pic ( i am thinking in reverse here as we usually look down to make sure we can soo through the plant. In your casethe last pic helps make the point. Insted of looking down here we are looking up:

There is room for better growth and a higher return overall if you can get that light to shine through you will be very happy, trust me have I lied to you yet today :) lol

Yes I actually did some cutting of some lower leaves in prep for my last lollipop tomorrow. Just taking a few lower limbs and some that are going to be too close together. Hard to tell but I think some more light is reaching the bottom.

yep def more light getting through.. still dense though in the mid section (like myself lol) i should be able to look through that canopy and see the back wall .. since i cannot then air cannot,

That’s a pretty cool trick haha, would have never thought to use AI that way. I see your point though I’ll take that into consideration when I lollipop tomorrow. Out of curiosity when do you personally stop lollipoping? Is it just plant specific or do you find that after a certain point it stunts growth?

About 21ish days for me is my last HARD defoliation on the plant.. after that its just as needed if a fan leaf is covering at least two sites ill nip it,, anytime and anyday as youll get more from the two exposed sites than leaving that leaf ..

BUT I also use underlighting from craft farmer, what a difference it makes. I know you struggle with heat in there but if you could get some reflective material on the bottom to bounce the photons back up to the underside you would benefit greatly in such a confined space (well as much as a small space can)
This is my proof when people ask if they really work, check the ladies out from top to bottom..

Yes, aluminum foil effectively reflects light photons, with a reflectivity of approximately 85%–95% in the visible spectrum. Due to its, often wrinkled, surface, it produces a largely diffuse (scattered) reflection, which is useful for boosting ambient light, acting as a DIY reflector to redirect light back towards plants or in photography

I was going to say a mirror but then I thought we would get Scarface comments lol jk

I too am a firm believer in leaf and junk removal. If it's not going to contribute to my canopy then it needs culled. Leaf or branches...anytime of the grow from early veg to mid flower.

I use leaf removal early in veg. To me itsxa legit training method and I think my journal posts can back that up.

I use a lot of twisting and cavortig..lol. I lst, hst, supercrop, remove leaf, and then I use monster clones as well. After all that I throw what I call a floater screen on top for even more control.

Its good to meet someone else not so skidish about removing leaf. To me indoor flgrowig is unnatural and light penetration is greatly desired. Them leaves gotta go if they are in the way..lol

I get it but foil is frowned upon in the grow world for the most part. Yeah, its shiny but but only reflects 50% or so a flat white paint is best. If ya want shiny stuff mylar is a good choice.
