Beautifully marked copperhead!Found this guy in my raised beds a couple of years ago. Beautiful specimen. I don't have young kids running around anymore so I just escorted him to the woods.

We're gonna be in the 70s in Ohio. It's not just out west.
Little Rock set new high temp record yesterday of 88, up two degrees from 2017's record.
Shreveport set new high record as well, 90 degrees up from 89 set in 1916.
Looks like today is to even hotter.
It's a crazy spring for sure all over the west. Don't let it fool you though i've seen this happen a couple times in my 40 yrs of outdoor MJ grows. I remember a Easter egg hunt i took our youngest daughter too 35yrs or more ago she must of been about 4yrs old. It was 85f or hotter so hot she even had sweat LOL. I had to give her water and set her in the shade of trees lots of kids were just beet red from too much sun & heat. But then again we can have snow as late as April here also. I fear for the forests this summer if we don't get long April showers and colder temps for the mountains.Supposed to get up to 85° in Virginia today. Love it!
Too damn hot too soon i don't like it.90 in Missouri
I like the warmer temps personally but global warming is definitely screwing everything up. The climate is changing much faster than plants and animals can evolve to keep up with the changes. This will lead to many more species going extinct. Not to mention the stronger thunderstorms, hurricanes, tornadoes and flooding. I'm worried about the shape of our planet we're leaving for our children. It's a crazy spring for sure all over the west. When the vast majority of climate scientists say global warming is real and the people in power say it’s a hoax. Who wins?there are no winners, only losers.I like the warmer temps personally but global warming is definitely screwing everything up. Too many refuse to understand there is a difference between weather and climate. Just because there was snow, and lots of it for a few days doesn't cancel out all the hot days. In fact these wild ass swings are evidence that the Climate is changing, there is no question about it. IMHO, or as Chuck likes to say, "just my .05". We don't make pennies and my opinion isn't worth two dimes, so a Nickle will do.When the vast majority of climate scientists say global warming is real and the people in power say it’s a hoax. Yeah, I don’t think dogs have any perception of size difference! I’ve seen pugs attack Rottweilers and luckily the pug owner corraled it in time!Sorry posted in the wrong thread on Cp’s thread.
This is my old girl, squirrel, snake and rat killer. She doesn’t stay outdoors much anymore and prefers the couch now a days but in her prime she was a tree’er, turner and retriever.

Well she is a lot bigger than a squirrel or rat but that was her job and she was aces. And these lil ones of mine had some proverbial balls the size of Egypt. My big girls worship her so not a problem there.Yeah, I don’t think dogs have any perception of size difference! Oh, come on! It can’t be that dry there yet! It hasn’t rained here in a month, but it’s still burning season! This is wildfire country! Yeah, you’re probably half lit!Well she is a lot bigger than a squirrel or rat but that was her job and she was aces. And these lil ones of mine had some proverbial balls the size of Egypt.
