Big girl
If your plants are happy you've already made good choices. I never wanted to run co2 mostly because it's another thing to take care of or mess up.

The best way I've found to get better light penetration is LST using yarn and masking tape. Tape to the plastic pot and a single tie around a branch and things stretch out. I'm using colorful yarn now so it isn't hard to see what's happening. I'm only growing one plant in a 4x4 tent this grow. The second one turned out to be male.

Big girl! Looks like the autopot system works well for you. Im still debating on whether or not to get it. What substrate and nutes do you run in the system?

Big girl! Looks like the autopot system works well for you. Im still debating on whether or not to get it. What substrate and nutes do you run in the system?

Regular seed is a big part of the size. I tried to pop 6 freebie Sinai from Real Seed Co. and 2 popped. One plant was male. The one that's left is taking care of using the tent. I've used lots of low stress training (yarn) to fill out pretty close to the corners of the tent which I couldn't have done with 2 plants. This is a semi-dwarf plant according to the seed co. but is about 4 ft tall even after being stretched out.

The autopot system works great not just for results but ease of use. Water gets added every few days. This run is half coco/ half Promix. Since nutes hang around with autopots I use Megacrop 1 part very lightly for veg. Now that the plants are in flower I'm trying Advanced Nutrients Bloom and Big Bud. Time will tell how big buds get. The plants are only a few weeks through flower now. I don't use a PH pen, power meter for light, or special water. Water gets taken out of the tap a day before use so chemicals get a chance to disappear. Pretty simple.

Different strains are interesting to me. I could clone plants for years but I've enjoyed having a variety of strains. Having a good seed co. to get seeds from is important. Good means seeds pop, give close to what the description says, and seeds aren't too expensive. I've found a few companies I like, all with regular seed.

Are the nutes you use organic or synthetic and are they liquid or salts? Do you just add them to the reservoir? If I end up buying an autopot system I'll use whatever method has worked for you.

Another 3-6 weeks left it looks like. Plants are slowly starting to fade it looks like. Can't wait to see these ladies swell up. Smells like sour bubblegum and very sticky. Can't wait to get the next round of plants into the flower tent. They will probably need about 2-4 weeks of extra veg time in the flower tent before flipping to flower. Looks like the sorry little clones are going to make it as well. Debating on whether or not I should reveg the one frost monster and keep her as a mother. I was able to successfully get one clone of hers to root. Well see.

Pics. Wouldn't upload on previous post for some reason.

Going to chop in a week or two. Nice organic fade and dying off of foliage going on. I probably could have gone a little harder with the last top dress but thats OK. Smells like like sweet and sour bubblegum! I took clones and have a keeper i want to mother. Plants in veg are ready for a transplant as well. They'll be going into the tent asap. Pics don't really do it justice. Looks like there will be some purple coming in too. Very happy with the result. The under canopy lighting definitely made a difference as all the bottom buds are dense and look more developed than usual. Very dense flowers as well! Shoutout to @Variety719 for the great genetics. Plants really grew well with no issues.

Cheers!

Idk why pics won't upload on original message. Weird.

Plants got chopped last night. Very short but stocky and chunky trees. The buds are incredibly dense. Im guessing probably around 2-4 oz dry per plant. Not very huge yielded but the quality is there which is good by me. I let them go just over 10 weeks. A little longer than usual but I prefer a later harvest for the chill effects. Cleaned the tent out and put the next round of plants in it for the following run. They were in desperate need of a transplant and were cramped for space. I neglected them a little bit but a proper transplant and a couple weeks in the tent should fix them right up. Probably shooting for another 2-4 weeks of veg after transplanting before I flip to flower. We've got apples and bananas x okie, white runts x okie, and project 4516 x okie in there atm. I have a few clones too and one keeper that I will keep as a mother for the time being. Everything was transplanted and now well veg for a few weeks before flip.

Been stuck in sticky ole trim jail all week. Almost done though. The plants in the tent have come back around and are looking healthy again. Im going to run five plants this time. The one in the middle is a papaya punch x okie clone that took off so I figured I'll flower it too this round. Ill probably veg for another week or two tops before flipping to flower. Don't want to run out of room with that extra plant in there. The clones in my veg closet are looking good again too. Ill probably have to continue taking tops off as its going to be a while before th tent opens up. One of them is going to be a mother. I have to buy a cloner because the water in a cup method im using takes way to long.

All plants looking good as usual.

Thanks. Actually I'm afraid of the same thing. Running out of room. The clone in the middle took off and I figured I might as well flower her as well. Maybe ill put her outdoors though? Id have to wait another 4-6 weeks to do that as it can still get cold here in Chicago during April. I was planning on putting the three little clones that are revenging outdoors. Idk. We'll see. All I know is that if I put that girl in the middle outside she's going to get enormous out there. Im in the city and have to keep it lowkey and away from preying eyes. Ill figure it out though!

It's not worth going public for a single plant if you're trying to be quiet. Weed plants get big and smelly outside :-).

Flipping to flower on Monday! I ended up with just over 15oz dried and trimmed btw. I thought it was going to be less but the buds are rock solid! Working on getting a cloner this week too. Then I'm going to switch over to a scrog setup with nine smaller plants vs 4 bigger ones. I want to try it that way and give coco/synthetics a try for comparison. Just a quick two week veg after rooting in the cloner and onto flower.

Thanks

So my ocd kicked in and I decided to do a heavy defoliation and adjust the lst on all plants one last time before flower. Opening up the canopy as much as possible and it looks like they should fit. I did this because i wanted to take clones just insane we have any keepers this round. Im going to let them recover for the rest of this week and onto flower we go.

Day 8 🌼 here. Plants were top dressed with 444, worm castings, and composted manure a week before flipping to flower. Ill give them another round of top dress f9or 🌼 when the stretch is over. Im also giving them epsom salts once a week with their water. Going to do a heavy defoliation when the stretch is over too. All is well and plants are very happy it seems. Shoutout to @Variety719 for hooking it up with some healthy, vigorous, and fire genetics. So gar every one of his seeds that I've ran has popped and grown vigorously.

Cheers

Day 15 flower. I gave them their last dose of top dressed 444 for the stretch. Ill be doing a final defoliation at day 21 along with a top dress for flower. Also took clones of each pheno just incase there's something really special here in the next couple weeks. Looking good.

Couple weeks left before harvest. Smells are amazing. Each plant is different but if I had to chose one it would be the papaya due to its structure and sweet/rotten fruit tree smell. I did have to kill one of the plants due to it herming on me. Hopefully won't have many seeds. I was outnof town and didn't get to it in time. Still going to be some fire bud. Not very huge yielded but the buds are dense like golf balls. I took some pollen from the herm and pollinated one branch on the papaya for shits and giggles. My closet plants are out of room and overdue for the flower tent. I also started some new beans for the next run.

All is well! Cheers yall!
