Getting the typical run around by the mars hydro warrenty team associated my driver quick connector plugs melted, so I contacted them told them the situation and said my 2 year old driver is burnt out, so far they've made me purchase new plugs from there thinking this would solve my issue which it did not. They've also asked my to supply a video of the new connectors fitted to my driver and asked me to provide evidence of it not working which I did, I am currently being ghosted by them. I've had enough of them where can I purchase a decent driver for my FC-E8000 that's going to last more than at least 3 years. Cheers

Look at the numbers on the driver and see if you can find one like it. Maybe send an email to Meanwell or Sosen with a picture of the current driver specs to see if they have something that will work or try to order through Marshydro.
Do you think this one is it?

You will have to ensure you get the right one. Maybe a used one on ebay?

Good luck.

Just to be transparent, I work for VueLeaf. We monitor grower forums like this for cannabis equipment brands, and threads like yours are exactly the kind of signal product and support teams should be seeing.

This isn’t just a warranty ticket anymore. Once a grower has documented the issue, shown the back-and-forth, and started asking publicly about replacement options, it becomes a real brand and retention problem.

Hope you get a proper resolution. Situations like this really should not end with a customer having to source their own replacement driver.

Thanks. It's really bloody frustrating you pay all this money and you get half decent warranty with your product and then when it comes to filing a warranty claim its like they give you excuse after excuse or the run around untill your warranty runs out, I dont see them doing this for the next 3 years when the warranty does run out on the driver

I went through a similar process with a Marshydro dimmer switch on a TS-3000 growlight that (when bought) was supposed to be 450 watt but only pulled about 430 watts. The one they sell now is rated for 420 watts. They did send a replacement dimmer but it was not the one that originally came with my light and would not work then sent another one, also not originally came with my light but worked. Took a really long time but was able to run my light on full amount at top of tent with very little light bleaching.

I had a driver quit on me, Mars put me through all the picture taking etc and a lot of correspondence, finally got a new driver , but it wasn't the original inventronics brand, it was some cheap Chinese knock off. I am done with Mars hydro - I now have fluence, and have no problems. Not worth having equipment that is a potential fire hazard.

Sorry you're having problems with mars hydro . I had the same problem with my spider farmer driver going out on my se4500. I contacted Spider Farmer and they asked for a video showing the problem. Luckily I have two of those lights so I made a video showing the light working when I swapped the drivers. Spider Farmer contacted me the next day saying my new driver was on the way. Came 3 days later and have had no problems since. Spider Farmer made a loyal customer that day. Hope your problem gets taken care of eventually. Good luck.

I sent an email to meanwell and they said they have no 730 watt drivers, the most they have is 600.

Yea my first light was a SF7000 and then I upgraded to a SE7000, wasn't a fan of the SE7000 it was good for the first 12 months and then it felt like the diodes started to go dull
