Aloha Everybody!
After growing off and on since 79' I finally got a twin seed. The strain is Ultimate Auto. I looked it up and some people are saying to just separate them and some are saying that one will grow deformed (like the one on the left in the pic) and it's better to just clip the deformed one. Wondering if anyone has had any experience with this....I'm kind of thinking I want to continue to grow the deformed one but maybe it will be a waste of time. What you all think?

Twin seed

I think i would grow the deform one.
It's a lottery but it could turn out good.
If you have room to play around, then go for it i'd say.
Yeah that's what I was thinking. I got room. I only grow 4 plant at a time in my 5x5. Would you grow it together like how it is now? or try to separate them? Never had to separate two plants before so not sure what's the best way to do it...

I wouldn't try separate them right now i think.
Unless you want to keep both and think they got a root each.
But i really don't know.

The normal one might take over and kill the deform one if they grow too much before cutting one or separating them.

If you try to separate, you might lose both…I’d wait and see what happens and if one starts to dominate, I’d chop the other…another farmer here had twin tap roots come out of a bean, but not sure how that is progressing though.
I use the "float method" for germinating seeds and when this seed popped I only saw one tap root before I planted it. So not sure if its even possible to separate. I think I'll wait a little while and see what happens. Mahalo for the input!

Yeah, I don't recall seeing two tap roots like in that picture. I think I'm going to wait a little while and see which one looks healthier then cut the other one. I don't want to eff around with it and kill them both. Mahalo for the input brother! It's greatly appreciated!
