it’s sold commercially.
Hardly anyone mixes soils properly anymore with the right stuff ( not coir ). Almost like a lost organic method
Some here buy it
It works how well no idea.
It’s normally 70% coir 30% soil

I sometimes add coco to my living soil mix for the oxygen holding traits but no more than 5 or 6% of my total volume.

It fixes one problem with aeration and loam but introduces a new one with potential cation issues. The latter can be managed and may be worth it for the aeration problems it solves. Make sure it's prewashed, that should make it go smoother and if you reuse your soil you'll want to reset it before reusing (the buffers wear out).
