I have six plants currently and they are five different strains and they all look a little far from being ready to harvest.

The Khalifa Kush and apple fritter was both listed as 8 to 9 weeks so I’m a little surprised that they’re not ready.
This is my second grow so I’m still learning and I was curious to see if anybody has insight as to what the factors could be

I’m running the following

-Khalifa kush x 2 from elite clone seeds (i’m also curious if anybody has experience with them in the past and what they think.)

-apple fritters from dr blaze

(3 smaller plants)
-2 strains from Blum burn seeds that don’t smell too good.
-black cherry punch from pyramid seeds

Hard to tell from pictures, but it looks like they’re pretty far along! It also looks like you’ve got a good deal of Foxtailing going on! That can complicate the decision on when to chop! Just two cents! Hang in there! You want cloudy trikes on the older bud!😃 Some still pictures of the buds might allow for a better look!

The taller plant grew way too tall and ended up, touching the lights at some point and burning at the top, which I think caused it to Foxtail.

I attached additional photos below. What’s your suggestion in a Fox tail situation?

Should I just disregard the top and harvest when the lower ones are ripe and Amber?

I responded below, accidentally un tagged you in my response

I think I would just ignore the FoxTails and base my decision on when to chop on the rest of the buds or bud! But you want cloudy at least! And you don’t have to chop the entire plant at once! You can chop the finished part and leave the unfinished part to ripen up as necessary! In my experience, they ripen from the top down and the outside in! But I grow outdoors, so just throwing this out there! Foxtails can make trimming hell! Lol!

☝️☝️What he's saying is true, i've done it many times taking the ripe tops and leaving lowers to ripen further. I just trimmed up a blue dream with abit of foxtailing and i found mold on a inside bud. So i cut it at 9wks. And i think 12wks in flower is long enough LOL

Also if you count from the flip to 12/12 that can make it seem a few weeks longer if the breeder counts from when the first flowers appear. That's how I count them. This eliminates the maturity of the plant being flipped from the equation.

Are these autos? flashing them with light during the dark period? 🤔 Am I the only one anal about keeping them in the dark when it's supposed to be dark? 😐
