So, life throws curve balls, then curve bowling balls.....

Son calls from Mom's Port Huron home (2 hour drive away)and says, 'Mom, there's no hot water'.
Check the tank. 'Mom, it's leaking.' 4:30 Friday....
Called 4 plumbers, no one until Monday. Sigh. But, I line one up anyways.
Kid calls today,'Mom, the food in the fridge/freezer is thawing'.

So I have to go there and take care of everything and not be here to take care of my little (and not so little) ones. Probably 3 days, maybe 4.. 🙁

I figure to water everything just before I leave and hope they're still alive when I get back. (No LOL this time.)

The guy who's coming on Monday said it'll be about $2500 to replace. How much was yours?
You should look at the the existing water heater for the gallons. Then you can compare prices on the actual unit. You can buy the unit from major suppliers like Home Depot/ Lowe’s and hire your own plumber. $2500 sounds rather excessive.

20 years ago I paid about 15 or 1600 to have a 50 gallon electric rheem put in! So 2500 might not be unrealistic! I don’t know if gas is more expensive or not but I think it is! Sounds like you’re a landlord!

Thanks all. It's gas and in a mobile home so my options are very limited. It's in a closet in a back bedroom and honestly, I think they built the walls around it, 'cause there's no room to work.
This must be the season to replace water heaters, the plumber said he's replacing 2 a day.

The Northern Lights Autos trics are starting to cloud up. Pics don't show it but it reminds me of snow on the mountain. LOL Oh, and they're foxtailing too, but doesn't bother me, 'cause I'm using it all for edibles. It got hot in the grow room from the lights and wouldn't cool down 'til dark. High of 84F.

might be silly but can you access from the outside (if its up against that outside wall)

Yeah, I thought most mobile homes had an outside access! I hope the water that was leaking got routed outside! You know how well those mobile floors hold up!😆 Knowing Cpurrrr though, it is probably a high-end, late model, triple wide! Oops! That is manufactured! Oh well!

Thats what i was thinking. Helped gramps years ago at his place, things was conveniently at the back porch with a door and everything! Yeah those floors dont like a lot of water! hope she’s able to figure it out.

Thanks guys, Mom's house in Florida had an outside access panel, but this one doesn't. I hooked a garden hose to the drain but nothing came out, and there is water on a piece of linoleum someone put underneath the tank. The wood under the linoleum is flakeboard, which is better than particle at least.

And I think the fridge is toast. Pulled it out, it looked very clean, the fan is running, the compressor is running, kind of. It starts, runs for a little while then shuts off. Price of a new compressor is around $500, tack on service and coolant and it equals a new, albeit smaller fridge.

So, looks like we go shopping once the hot water tank is replaced. Ya know, it used to be fun getting new things, but not like this. 😒

To get this thread back on track.
These are two Grape Dragons from 7 East Genetics, the tall one has been under the T5 fluorescent grow lights while the short one has been under the AC LED light in the tent. I know phenos can be different and I did pick the shortest to go in the tent, but still. Such a difference!

I think the big difference in internode length may be due to the different lights. The only fair comparison would be under the same fixture imo.

Yep, the lights made the difference. And I made sure to keep the florescent bulbs as close to the leaves as possible. In fact I did fry a few top leaves when I wasn't paying close enough attention.

With similar trials of led & mh or cmh I've found striking differences also. Similar to yours with 6000k 600w mh dialed to 50% displaying results closer to the right-side of your photograph & within the age period you're showing. 4000k 330w cmh fits just about in the middle of the three side by side. Both mh & cmh are quick with cmh stretching a bit more but providing larger dli. Maybe reconsider hid along your fall indoor tents. Readjusting again near the end of stretch keeps showing 2200k 600w hps at 75% gaining hugely next to led with dli progressing roughly through the life cycle near 20-25 to 33-35 to 40-45 although some strains continue to gain with higher dli bulking and quickening a week or so, it's a trade off gains, electricity, time. I'm speaking about mainly my 3'x3' tent with scrog. I also use a 30"x30" alot and occasionally a 4'x 4'. I dig you swing the wide open & the dusty "shadows", Fwiw,🤗
