Hello technical support team members,

The following are my very first attempts at growing. I have watched countless hours of conflicting info and process steps to achieve desired results...... obviously I have unknowingly missed something?

The sick plant strain is Green Candy, started out like an absolute champ. I topped it as directed and LST but then it stalled and lost colour and gained some nasty leaf blemishes. The big fan leaves are no longer appearing, it's like I achieved Bonzai unintentionally. I have not been able to regain colour. I read that the plant must be stalled from too much stress and cut my losses. It was so vigorous at the early stages and feel my interventions were only minimal. I have replicated the same steps with the healthy plant that I started 2 weeks later and it is going strong (Gorilla Glue 4).

My other issue is both plants have now started to form pistils on a 18/6 schedule. I seriously doubt the seed seller provided me auto's, guessing my inexperience has created stress, not sure how as I have been gentle?

Any help appreciated for some direction. Would hate to end the life early of a plant if there is a chance of saving it.

I am in a 2x4 Spider farmer SF2000, have fabric pots with SF wicking bases and also running SF dehumidifier.

Planting in full Organic premixed soil that is stated to be a start to finish product. I spoke to supplier and also have a booster ready for flowering stage. Have also invested in some sick plant booster but not added yet. 2 days ago I gave some super dillute blood and bone to the sick plant.

You might be seeing the pre flowers which is a good thing, no need to worry there. It just means the plant is sexually mature and female.

It looks like the seed to harvest soil is either lacking a bit or the pH is off. One looks starved of N and one looks pretty good. The top soil on both looks super dry too. Did you top water until the roots were deep enough to pull from the wick? Do you occasionally top water them now? What's your tap water or whatever you're giving them like? Do you know the pH/ppm? With soil you have a lot of wiggle room but if you have a well and softener etc it can cause problems over time because things accumulate, grows start good then go to shit la la la lol

I'm not a soil or bottom watering guy so hopefully some of the other folks around here with more knowledge on that will chime in.

They just need a slight course correction and they'll be fine.

Ok let's get some more info on your grow.
Specifically the super soil. Brand type post it up.
Next is specs on the environment with temp day and night and humidity day and night.
Light energy in ppdf/ lux/ hight and power
Water source and how do you water? Is it based on schedule do you treat all the plants the same?

Looks like a nutrition fade that can be caused by a lying sack of dirt or PH issues. We will have to eliminate them 1 by 1.
Living soil guys should respond after information on grow posted.
.
And my general hint.
You know the bag you are using. I would use the search feature ( spyglass ) on the THC farmer header. Put in the bag name and see if we have a thread on it.

I basically said the same darn thing LOL

Watering base enough to get water up during a seedling stage means a possibility of wet feet being the pH jacker.

Hello team,

I purchased a RMo sytem to suply my water v's tap. I have meter to check the soil, it ain't bang on but hovers round the 6.0 mark give or take.

The soil type as requested is https://easyasorganics.com.au/?srsltid=AfmBOopzw4JRkg5mlAnXIIJuX7zhhAolqZ2rlvv-UFHhLoxSSoVYb5yT

Currently we are in sleep ,mode but air temp is 27.5c, humid is 58.4%, VPD is 1.54kPa. In my 2x4 tent I have led about 60cm off tips @60%intensity. Fan is L2 and blower set for light period @ 25%... Dehumid kicks in based on presets going above mold environments.

Thank you to all for comments, so difficult to diagnose personally and appreciate every single comment, especially JIM.

Topsoil95, ypu are right..... top soil is dry because I was worried I had over supplied H2O. I let it run dry for 2 days till pot got light, then watered with weak blood and bone. I have all the bells and whistles hydro/nutrients but tried to just do the basics before going down that path.

Ok found the issue.
" Use a minimum of 50 liters of soil for bla bla bla."
You have a living soil medium that needs enough of a reserve to power the plants.
I think if you just treat this like happy frog and ocean forest potting soil you will be fine.
You will need to schedule feeding about every 2 weeks as it takes 10-14 days for the organic nature of your grow to convert what you put in the pot ( as long as you stay organic.
If you want you can try to amend the soil with organic stuff but unless you have a recipe or have experience with organic soil production I would recommend a organic feed that knows the difference between " plant, potted, indoor " and " indoor cannabis grow" Look for a cannabis feed chart for the nutrition choice.
Gia green
Dr Earth
Roots organic
Biobizz
There are also feeding calculators if you decided to go mineral like advanced nutrients and
General hydroponics

Now is the time. That pot looks to be fading. It sounds like you have the environment close but 1.5 is high unless you have no leaf offset then it's fine.
Good luck and welcome to the Farm 😎

I'm just using an occams razor lens here but theres an overall yellow tone on a couple of those and that's an indication of high EC/wrong EC. When you rewater the pot, make sure there's a sufficient volume to push the excess junk buildup out the bottom. Everything showing there could potentially be corrected with a deep watering EC correction. If it got pocketed it will be a little more challenging and might take a few specialized waterings to correct. You're not in too much trouble. You're at a good point for intervening. If you have any experience taking EC readings it would be easier and you can be more precise to prevent bottoming out but you can rely on standard volumes and achieve expected results without a test pen.

It takes some time to figure this part out : ) there can be a lot of variables to track down to a specific ailment. Plants are looking good! Nice work so far✌️

That soil had 30 days of food at max. Get your self a nice top dress, roots organic is good, I personally like Gaias Green. Add the recommended dose with a bit of extra worm castings and a tablespoon of Epsom salt and they will green right up.

Hope somebody can help. Started about 200 seeds in early April. Had great germination. Initially under LED lights indoors but I put over half out in my greenhouse. Plants in the greenhouse look fine.
Some of the plants under LED look like this. Soil mix is Pro Mix with Perlite, Earthworm castings and Biochar. Having problems with humidity indoors. Humidity very high especially in the early morning. Lights indoors are 20 hours on 4 hours off. Planning to move all indoor plants into the greenhouse as it appears something indoors is the problem. Planning to put all plants outdoors, planted in ground in a week or two as weather allows. But, I'd like to correct this problem. Any help appreciated. Indoor plants are in trays to catch overflow. Greenhouse plants are on wire mesh tables with overflow dripping to floor.

CC57 we understand you need some help but this is another members thread.
For ease of use each member should post the question or topic they want
Hit those 4 horizontal bars and navigate to forums, then catagories then look for grow diaries.
Once they hit the post new and follow directions . 😎
