I’m 6 weeks into flower and my leaves are discolouring and looking burnt and spotty. I’m growing in 100% coco and using a dripper system to freed. I’m using canna coco A and B at half strength. My ph is 6. The temps are 27.5c when lights are on and 21c when off.

What's coming out the bottom vs what's going in? For instance, if you feed 1.8 EC @ 6 pH in, what's the runoff numbers? What's your water source?

"Half strength" needs a bit more context to distinguish between a lock out or just hungry plants.

I don’t know what’s coming out the bottom as I don’t have a ec pen. That’s why I have been conservative with the feed. Half strength is canna A & B at 2 mill per litre instead of the recommended 4 mil per litre. Just wondering with them being 6 weeks into flower maybe they are short of potassium and phosphorus

Looks more like calcium and magnesium tbh and likely just under fed. Are they on a constant drip, or cycles? Are you using tap water? Six weeks from when you flipped the light or from when you saw the first flowers?

Not to be a dick but growing hydro in coco you must have an EC pen. It's like a carpenter showing up to work without a hammer. Don't be that person. You are starting with an unnecessary handicap.

And by EC pen we do not mean a 19.99 pen with a green color and a powder for calibration fluid.
We mean a good tool with the proper calibration fluid.
Bonus points of it has replaceable tips.

In today's economy a $10 vivosun will get you there for EC, for pH you need to spend big for electronic but cheap liquid drops also get the job done and will actually be more accurate over time as calibration and replacement bulbs are a bitch and $$$.

6 weeks from light flip. I have been growing like this for last 5 years and never had a problem. I flushed about 4 days ago with qaurter strength feed and cal mag. But since then it seems to have gotten slightly worse. It’s on the canopy leaves only not on the sugar leaves or underneath.

Agreed. A ppm/EC pen may drift 30-50 ppm over time but you still get a ballpark of +/- 0.1 accuracy. Those pH pens lose their hold and it's like WTF.

I finally made the switch to drops. Buying those cheap pH pens and tossing them 2 months later isn't good for the environment. Drops never lie and they don't have to be calibrated.

Flushed at 6 weeks into flower? Why on earth would you do that? At 6 weeks they are at full feed & max light. I'm thinking you should follow the instructions on the bottles..

I thought it might have been a toxicity of some sort. It was one flush with quarter strength nutes and calmag. They are back on the proper feed now.

Not at half strength nutes you won't get toxicity I use this graph as a feed guide in flower. In veg I supplement mag with Epsom Salts 1 tsp/gal through veg then at about 2-3 weeks in flower when the demand for Ca goes up I switch to Cal/mag

So they are closer to week 4 of actual flowers. 5 years is a great stretch running blind, I'm assuming with different strains going half strength probably helps to keep EC and pH in check but I'm surprised you never got hungry ones before. You never answered my questions about constant drip, runoff, tap water etc and without EC and pH readings I can only guess at what's going on, because you want to rule out toxicity if that was on your mind.

From what you've said it sounds like they needed more food, not less. But if you then say they get watered 1 liter a day in 5 gallon containers with no runoff we're talking a whole different ballgame.

It’s not a constant drip it’s in a timer. It comes on about 5 times a day. There is some run off. Yes it’s tap water. They probably get about 2 litres a day over 5 feeds

If they were mine I'd lean towards hunger as a diagnosis and feed them more, especially given they're in peak flower now.

Are they under an HPS light? Any chance those leaves are taking a beating in a hot spot with less airflow?

They are under hps but it’s the mainly the ones near the intake fans so I would assume that is the coldest part not the hottest. It’s never happened before. If it was under nutes then should I go three quarters instead of half? Or go max strength?

Start at 3/4 and see how it goes.

If the nutes are stacking up by not pushing enough water, you can definitely overfeed a plant at half strength. You nailed it several comments ago, this is a game you don't want to be flying blind in.
