Anyway, time for a v v long overdue update, sheesh! Well, it's been a busy old time and such is life.

Anyway, we are now a couple of weeks in to flower and they are beginning to stretch. Been v interesting how their demands have changed over time. In veg, the sativas at the back were all in for a higher EC whilst indicas not so much. Now we're in to flower that has completely swapped round and I had to back it off a little. Trying to find the sweet spot for all is obvious a challenge!

Good learning process though as have had to nurse a few back from the edge already due to various reasons, sativas still not quite there but slowly coming back I think. So onwards we go...

Think will be at least another 2 weeks of stretch (slightly worrying!) and then a big final defoliation once they stop and buds are the main event. Have been snipping here and there to open up bud sites, clear dead leaves and improve airflow as needed.

So did a big res swap last night as they move in to Gen Period I on the Canna schedule. 20gals all told with some extra runclean and calimagic in there to try and help all but particularly the two sativas.

There was some gunk in the pipes and also trays and both the sativas had their roots in to the trays somehow. All sorted now so hopefully this fresh res will perk them up some more.

Back to a more exciting and important query though, with 4/20 just around the corner what has anyone been buying strains/offer wise so far or plan to?

I've dipped my toe in with some Missouri Dad strains and some type 2 from Hoku Seeds so far. Must resist more but we all know how it is... 😉

I'm terrible with the updates but we're deep in to flower now and they're ok but still been a bit finickety. I'll update with some pics this week.


In the meantime, here are my outdoor season ladies.

Northern Hashplant - A v kind forumite - excited for this one!
Gelato 41 - Atlas Seeds (from a friend).
Cinderella Man x GG4 - Trustfall - what happened to them (Variety719, seemed to fall off around Dec last year)?
Mystic Valley - Hoku Seeds (Type 2: THC/CBD) - San Fernando Valley OG (THC) x Fyre OG (CBD) - Love me some type 2 and this should go well seeing as I'm in the SFV!

3 x potted up in their final 5gal homes.
1 x Hoku a few weekd behind.

The larger three have just had their second topping this week and first LST today. The Hoku will be transplanted in the next few days.

I couldn't resist and ordered from CSI Humboldt, oh my they look good! 🤩

And may have taken advantage of the Giving Tuesdays at Hoku (again), oops.
