I put 3 plants in the ground today that got started mid March. The Raspberry Shoes from 7East is the middle plant in the pic below and quite tall with very sturdy stalks already. 7East seems to be out of many strains now including the Raspberry Shoes. It must have been a good spring for 7East. The plant got topped once.

The 2 outside plants are Skunk85 from Lucky13. Seed for them is sold out too. The fabric bag on the lawn is from one of the skunks and has lots of roots stuck to the bottom of it. They're quite short especially considering they were never topped but have lots of promise for bud sites.

My little electric roto tiller cost me $130 Canadian. It does a great job for the little bit it needs to do.

It was 4 degrees Celsius this morning and we have a cool enough night tonight. Then the forecast is for 8-10 C for overnight lows. Should be good.

I started 2 Majestic13's from Lucky13 yesterday. These have been sold out for a while but I've had them in the fridge wrapped in a dark garbage bag for the last 5 years or so. I expect the second one will be along soon.

Happy start to the season to other farmers that are just starting. It should be a fun year.

So, if they both survive where are they going?

I get so anxious during this time. I know it comes from a big mess up i had many years back setting out too early all my 7 plants went into early flower and lost over half of the harvest. I swear i slept like shit last night cause i forgot to bring in my 4 indoors and they were out all night. Great temps were having but i just don't relax until i see them growing in the big pots. I've got them supported with bamboo and ties so they don't whip around there pretty skinny right now.

How tall are they?
And I put mine out today, 'cause I'm tired of putting them in the greenhouse for 1 or 2 hours of light from the shoplight. I had it turning on at 6AM and off at 9PM. Seems silly when dawn is approx. 6 and dusk is near 8:30.
And I turned it off during the day. We are at 14 hours 47mins. so I takes my chances.

lol I’m going to post this in the right year outdoor thread
Growing: 1 bubblegum Xl auto, 1 blackberry kush auto, 1 LSD-25 auto, granddaddy purple auto, northern lights x amnesia haze photo, hash burger photo, purple Hindu Kush photo, down unda berries photo, crystal ( white widow x northern lights), puppy breath a strain I created from unknown genetics,
Soil looks great!

Soil mix is horse manure compost, cow manure compost, top soil, coffee grounds, and professional potting soil as well as natural soil. Will be adding worm castings and nutrients later on once plants grow more.
Sounds so much like mine. There’s a few things more I add, extra time including reds & nightcrawlers giving them the time to finish and provide lots of castings. I buy hundreds and more of them and see the offspring multiplying. Yours is sounding really great!

That's getting trickier. I have a neighbor that has solar panels on 3 sides of his house that uses the juice to power up purple lights all night. The 3 I put in today will be fine but the next couple will be a challenge ! The next 2 may end up vegging in pots outside and coming inside to flower.

The beds are open bottom and the horse compost I got from s farm so there are worms already in all of it I just let nature take over lol

Tell your neighbour to settle down with the purple lights!!! LOL. Hopefully they dont mess with your plants

Mr. Purple (purple car, purple paint on the house, purple lights) is the same guy that told the snow removal service to move the snow from his front yard to others up the street (eg. mine). I had a conversation with his snow removal service not that long ago. He's a "special" person that is high functioning in some ways, not so much in others.

Directly next door to him is my buddy with about 30 plants started which not a single plant has made it to ground yet. They're all sitting outside on a table. His lawns not cut with paper bags full of pulled weeds etc. It's still early BUT ...

It's interesting to watch people do the same thing that doesn't work year after year instead of adjusting what they do.

Hi Guys
I've come over to France and have taken a look at my gorilla grow. Planted 2 sprouted beans a month back. Ones gone, insects or drought got her.
The other one hardly grown but still here. I planted these in tiny grow bags which I thought would let the roots through. Looks like they don't.
Replanted the survivor without the bag and watered her. Put more seeds soaking.

Daily Light Integral. You will soon.
Are you familiar with the app Photone? I was messing with it trying to understand DLI. Is there a specific number the plants want to reach a day, and then use these tools to measure and see if they're reaching it? I've researched a bit but couldn't quite comprehend. Then I watched a youtube video explaining it and my brain fried.
