Morning Trainwreck.....I have been getting set up for this grow season....I have lots of beans in the ground....I had only 3 NL#5 seeds so dropped them....for a seed run. I am working this grow season to build a srrain that will excel in colder climates....we will see how that turnes out. Crossing a Siberian and Afghani strain....then with Kumanaoni.....hope for results that will start strong in 40....50....degree temps and then finish in more reasonable 70...80 degrees.

I just want to know what other threads were locked, seriously, when I’m on, the og trainwreck was my diary, so it’s kinda jacked to shut it down, so that makes me wonder, how many “in the wrong spot” threads got shutdown I put my heart and soul into that. It was the number one thread here. Change the format, lock it. Make it hard for the folks who used it to find the new one?
Didn’t even inquire or drop a message to me about it, I made the thing, evryone knew what was going on with me.
Seems personal.
Wouldn’t be shocked if I get banned at this point. But I’m gonna check the next week. If folks want to drop me contact info I’ll be on to check for that and I’ll text you back.
Just a tip folks, don’t have anyone important in your life get sick, or have things get crazy financially. Bc your threads will get locked and any good will you may have invested for 6 years will be shutdown.
Slept on this bs. It’s just not cool.
So anyways it’s been a pleasure people.sorry life got in the way of the farm.
Had zero clue I’d come back to the site I love and get flat out dogged because my wife almost died.

I hear you brother a bunch of bs. What would it take to unfreeze....does it take up to much space? At least an explanation to you.... I hope they don't ban you. You have a wealth of knowledge to share with the farm. I get it having contact info...i know how to reach you...but on the forum you answer a question I have...share a tidbit about a strain...a grow...everyone learns from it. As well as I may read something you shared with someone else....and learn a valuable piece of info....I know that this isnt new to you....maybe I'm venting so @logic can read it. I've remember you mentioned something in your thread and was able to go back and find it....that shouldn't be lost.... here is to your return Cap't and prayers to you and family..

I think it's safe to say what has happened over the past couple days, building an online cannabis community isn't really the agenda of this website at all. It's almost a case study on "how to destroy an online community." They can be pissed at me for saying this, but how many people were dropping in regularly to that original Trainwreck thread and how many of them can't even find the friends they were visiting daily right now? Sorry dudes. Major fail.

It's more than that. The "lobby" of the forum has the smokers lounge way down at the bottom of the page and no on-ramp at the top for quick social engagement. On top of that, you might notice that if you are tracking NEW activity, nothing from the "smokers lounge" section appears up there, so I'm sitting here scratching my head wondering if they really are trying to break up their online community. They forced everyone to find new channels and pathways to connect with other growers. It was a single discussion thread. The site's biggest traffic generator. Instead of killing it they should have been looking into how they could capitalize on it. We were only 222 pages away from reaching the 5,000 mark. Almost 100k comments.

Mods can create threads on their own. Instead of creating one and making a post at the closed thread that points to the new one, they said this thread is closed, go create a new one over at Smokers Lounge. Do let that sink in for a moment and you tell me, dues that sound even remotely like they're trying to nurture an online community? Hmm.
