Yeah man, AKBB got a killer seed collection and is mostly shit I smoked in the 90's and early 2000's. The only reason I didn't grab the Choc Thai is because I figured the chocolate pheno was too rare to find in a 10 pack (which could be completely false assumption on my part). Hope you document the grow so I can follow along.

I'll snag some Cat Piss shots for ya later tonight. 4 weeks into flower and it REEKS like old school funk I haven't smelled in a long time. Didn't top or lst and I love the structure and shape. No need for defoliation either.

Be sure to pop in and throw a link to your grow when you get the beans! You running them indoors or outside?

havent gotten them yet. I have no issue doing a journal here on them once they get here. These will be inside because i have 6-10 (if they be females) syrian landrace i just popped for outside 44.5617° N and 72.5984° W. We shall see what this becomes!

Day 32 of flower.

Nice open structure light penetration throughout every bud site. No defoliation or training. Snipped 2 bottom branches and that's it.




Nice greasy top cola. Already some strong terps smelling funky and sharp.


Nice structure overall when grown upright.



Some side branch action... these might be a problem when the buds start fattening up. Probably stake them or tie em up.


So far I'm really digging it. Been a dream to grow so far.

Beautiful looking structure and the buds stacking up like a totem pole. This plant was topped once and already as tall as I am. Nice terps happening but I can't really peg it down yet. Still too early to say.




Here's a shot of the whole jungle rockin and rollin. You can see the tallest plant is the chocolope pheno on the far left in the back.

I got a little mini Green Crack in flower too. I threw it to 12/12 just to get some smoke real quick while everything else finishes. It's such a cool shape and a mini bush tree I'll throw some pics up when the buds start fattening up in the next 2 weeks. But for now, here's a little Bonsai I grew.

Never (knowingly) smoked chocolope but a big fan of Chocolate Thai and any Columbian/Mexican Haze. Although the Chocolate Thai from the 90's, when you were lucky enough to find it, was usually laced with opium. Soooo.... it's not as strong as we think. Not without the opium lol. These are the original D-Line seeds aka: Thai Mango Haze. Chocolate Thai x Cannalope Haze. The Cannalope Haze is Haze Brothers x Mexican landrace. No matter the expression, it's gonna be something I can dig.

AK Bean Brains (AKBB) has preserved a TON of old school genetics and did some breeding with the original cuts of things that are impossible to find now. Dude has a HUGE catalogue of well preserved, old school fire. All my seed packs from him had like 20 seeds each lol. Dude is cool as fuck and for people like me he's a legend and a hero for sharing what he's saved. The Smithsonian of cannabis seeds haha. Shout out to Dave.

The Chocolope, TKNL5Haze and Cat Piss are from him. All 3 so far meeting or exceeding my expectations.

Hell yeah! I would grow it every time if I had the space. GG4 never gets old and has that unique sour chemy profile. I find that around 62-65 days is best. 70 - 72 you'll get some of that hints of chocolate but lose a little of the sour chem. Regardless, it's great no matter what. Can't really fuck it up either lol. Those terps just rip through and stick around. Great high, potency, flavor.... overall amazing.

ECSD .... I haven't smoked Sour Diesel in at least 10 years. Been searching for it like mad. Used to smoke this back in the 90's/2000's and this is probably my #1 all time bud I ever smoked. So needless to say I'm excited for it.

Got a 2nd ECSD monster vegged that I just threw into flower too. That one is about 30 days behind the one pictured above.

Chopped a test bud of Green Crack at day 42 (or 43 depending on how you count).

Day 41 was more sharp and nostril tinge citrus/fruity. 42 lost some of the top end snap and is a bit sweeter. I think I'll take it to 45 see what happens. I've heard that after 45 is does swell a bit more but doesnt smell or taste as good. Once my test bud is dried I'll give an honest opinion what I think of it.
