After several years in the making, “The Pl*nt”, a documentary by HighVideo in collaboration with Royal Queen Seeds, is now live on Amazon Prime Video in Spain.

This is not just another polished cannabis story. “The Pl*nt” brings together voices from across the culture, science, industry, and legal landscape to look at the plant with the depth it deserves.

At the heart of the film is what is believed to be the final recorded interview with Dr. Raphael Mechoulam, the renowned chemist behind some of the most important discoveries in cannabis science. He passed away in 2023, and his words now remain part of this story forever.

The documentary also features Jorge Cervantes, Royal Queen Seeds founder Boy Ramsahai, scientists, doctors, lawyers, growers, and families. People who would rarely be found in the same room are brought together here to explore where the plant has been, where it stands today, and where the conversation could go next.
