GMO strain

Been growing a cannabis clone in a 3x3 tent with a 120W full-spectrum LED. Started in a small cup, had some neem burn (lights-on mistake), early N-tox clawing, and a bit of yellowing on lower leaves. Transplanted to a custom living soil (manure-based, castings, coco, peat, etc.) a few days ago. Held off watering to let it dry back properly. New top growth is coming in flat and clean, plant stretched about ½ inch in 24 hrs recently. Keeping it simple: plain pH'd RO water only for now, no teas/amendments yet. Soil moisture gradient looks good (35% top, 50–60% deeper). Overall, it's recovering strong and starting to take off i think!

75 - 79°
55 to 60% humidity

First one in a long time

Let me know what your thoughts are !

Here we are. Guessing the live soil is used is a bit hot with N . Watered it till a small amount of run off 4 days ago and its still at 95% moisture. Seems to compacted a bit.

Gonna let it dry out some more and see what happens. Don't think im in to bad of shape but we will see. I leave Friday for a week and kind of fighting if I should water it before I go or wait. Ill measure the moisture level and make a decision friday. Still is going strong. Light is 150w about 30" up.

Just a quick note. Living soil like to stay moist all the time. Excess drybacks will drop pH and spike EC. But at the same time overwatering will decrease the oxygen levels in the medium. It's a fine balance in bigger pots earlier on. Keeping them moist, not wet or dry is the key with living soils and it takes a bit to get used to..

The microbes in the mix also need pretty constant moisture levels (not wet, not dry) as they are the ones that break down the food in the medium into forms the plant can take in, so think about smaller amounts of water regularly, and alternate between top and bottom feeds.

If you have a hot mix especially, as the moisture levels decrease, the salinity rises and the pH drops. The microbial activity in the medium alongside the mineral content is what buffers the pH in living soils so keeping the microbial population happy is paramount for a stable environment.

Watered today to keep moisture gone for a week. New leaves look a little burnt. Still growing good tho. Any recommendations?

Here is a update.
I ended up voting against transplanting and am working on stealing some cuts from this one. The new spoil i have i took my original soil and added

Base soil (what it already had):
hardwood compost (humus)
composted manure
field grasses / plant material
yucca
coco coir
peat moss
earthworm castings
What I added:
~6.5 gal base soil
9 qts perlite
8 cups worm castings
water to field capacity
Now:
mixed well
covered loosely
letting it sit 10–14 days before planting

Ill take my cuts tomorrow and by 14 days i should have this soil ready.

Update. Week 4 in flower. Have new ac infinity tent. Got a gdp clone but i think the heat in transfer killed it. We will see.
