I think I found out why seeds aren't germinating... my ph is high. I've killed way too many seeds for it to be old or bad seeds Maybe. The last time I checked, the pH of anything was my well six years ago! Keep trying and don’t overthink it!👍

I got some seeds from a generous grower here on the farm and they didn't pop, they rotted. Next time, I put them in a dilute H2O2 peroxide and water solution for a few hours and they all popped. Turns out the damp off fungus can attach to the outside and kill the seeds when they get wet. If the seeds are from a company that has a good germination warranty it doesn't usually happen.

00000 crap this news to me Sure makes me feel better! I don't even want to figure out how much moola I wasted on seeds not germinating cos I soaked them too long. Waiting for that tail to show out! Damn! Ok, I've learned a fortune worth in this post!!! Thank you @cpurola 💚💋💚💋💚💋💚💚💚💚💚💚

Forgive me @bentboy2521 for not seeing this sooner!! I barely remember being 52, lol! Are you in the Virginia growers thread? I watch it some cos I've got a fav cousin who moved there a few yrs ago, from Santa Cruz.
Anyway, nice to meet you! Thanks for your service! 4 plants ain't so bad...I barely ended up with 4 at harvest last year! LoL
This year I'm trying KiS nutes. I used Grow Dots & Recharge last year & the yr before it was Fox Farm trio.
I like a little sativa but I'm too scatter brained to smoke that straight up. Haha. I love the knock you off your ass weed that doesn't take much during the day. I'm glad Sativa is your good to go medicant & gets you thru your day 🫶
I smoked some Jack Herer & I liked it lots! I think the auto I'm trying is gonna come up! The seed shell fell off and I see a little green leaf trying to emerge. Are all yours Autos? Will you get multiple harvests in?

Glad to talk to you. The jack is an auto. Cinderella and rosetta are both photo. Started with just the 2x4 tent,

The jack is an auto. Cinderella and rosetta are photo. Next grow i think i will put the jack in the hydro and see how it does. I enjoy working with both the hydro and the coco. Good learning experience(even tho some times both seems to take up alot of my days). Im used to growing 15-20 years ago with just soil and metal halide/sodium pressure bulbs. Things have come so far, so i thought i would give it a shot once again with some of this cool high tech automated grows. So far so good. Ill keep in touch as things progress. And try and stay cool, you and the plants!

I'm using KiS nutes this year. You seem to be doing great!!! How many years have you been growing? I'm very impressed💚 I started some early and some are getting close! The ones I started in April are hating this heat. What have you been using? 🫶

Don’t even have a swamp cooler? Or is that what you’re talking about with pads? I would think a swamp cooler would be minimum!

Yes we have a swamp cooler... Got a new one last year... At the end of the year....
So hubby wasn't used to these.. (What look like cardboard pads... To me) And sprayed them with the full tilt boogie nozzle on the hose ... To knock the cleache off.... Well long story short.... He shot holes thru it... 🤷 Wondering why it was throwing bubbles inside 🤔🤦So... Yes we had to wait till the next day to get another pad for the swamp cooler. 🤦 🤬

I’ve got the old style with the aspen pads! Sounds like you’ve got the new style and I think they cool a lot better! But coolers in general don’t do much good until the humidity gets below 30%! At least Mine doesn’t! But when you get down to the teens and single digit, they blow pretty cold!😍

Yep agreed! I wasn't fond of the Aspen pads smell... But he used those blue fiber pads he could CLR & spray off. He's a tight wad but he'll spend the $80 for these new pads lol. Red heads are hot blooded. LoL It's all good 🫶

So I'm gonna post some pics... It was 106 today. Wonderful. 🥵
My hubby still tells me I'm wasting my time on 1 cola itty-bitty's. But they are so cute!! I want to break rules with them! So the test is on 🧑‍🩰🏜️lol
Plus, I still don't count them in the growing limit.... Haha 👀🚨

Here's my runt Purple Haze I put into a raised bed. The nearest tater isn't doing too good...lol 0 well. Haha
I hardly get to water her, personally ... Since the house water is on the taters so.. Recently I'm feeding teas & top dressing amendments. She's only gotten over watered 1x so far. This pic was 3 days ago, she's taller & she's in for the long haul💚
I see all the pics of everyone's beautiful healthy plants & I'm very intimidated. I'm shy. Lmao .. Should of added an "F" before the a ...But, I've gotten to my old ripe age staying happy in my circumstances while learning how to move forward. Make things better. Mistakes are not the end. Staying ignorant is. 💚
I've smoked lots of shit weed since 1968 . If I grow some, & I have... Everyone I've given it to comes back... Hey you got anything you don't like?
Beggers are needed.. They are like the earth cleaner animals.
Just my humble opinion. Lmao

Here's my 2nd Purple Haze I started in April. This is my 1st yr to grow in bags. I seriously don't know what I'm doing, but I'm doing it. 🧑‍🦳
It's been hard getting the watering right. Today I stick my finger in... Thankful for my itty uncle or old 🤔 Henry knife to clean my nails! LoL
The soil feels dry but the bag feels heavy. Dang top dressing added weight I wasn't registering. 🤦 Anyway, there's hope for her & me. :-) I love Purple Haze 💜💚
