Week 9 and 2 day's from 12/12 light switch waiting on amber tricomes but none showing why ?
If you flipped to 12/12 9 weeks ago I would say you still have at least two weeks hopefully amber shows by then patients with the amber sometime is happens slower sometimes it’s almost over night looking good keep em going

First time with coco and NL strain shows 7 to 10 weeks flowering time, 2 days into week 10 no colored trics. I plan on a chop this weekend just hoping for some amber by then.

I don’t ever count the first 3 weeks of 12/12 as flower time I start counting when tiny buds show about 3 weeks after flip
It’s really up to preference if you want more couch locking go more amber

I'm with Bigal on that statement. I don't count till i see bud poking out of the stems. Your grow looks great and abit longer you'll be glad you waited.

Just thought I could beat the hot months and save a little money on electric bill here in Texas with it already being mid June and July & August around the corner. My grow started mid February with light switch to 12/12 April 14th after 8 wks of veg, 10×10 inside building temperature and humidity controlled grow room. Selected NL feminized seeds thinking their a early flowering strain with breeder saying 7 to 9 wk flowering time not to say their not but guessing it depends on when to start counting wks in flower my count is at the switch. Happy Trails my fellow growers and good luck with your endeavors.

I understand your pain with the temps just got done trying to grow in garage hot for sure by the apr 14 flip your in week 5 or six thats how I would see it

Those pics look like she’s in the window, just not at the heavy amber end of it yet. I’d be checking the trichs down on the swollen calyxes, not the sugar leaves, because those leaves can look ready before the actual flower is.

Breeder times are kind of like seed packet dates in the vegetable garden - useful, but under perfect conditions and counted their way. From an April 14 flip I wouldn’t panic at no amber yet, especially if she kept stretching and didn’t set real buttons for a couple weeks.

If the Texas heat/electric bill is forcing your hand, mostly cloudy is still a perfectly reasonable harvest, just usually a cleaner/brighter effect. If you want that heavier NL couch feel, I’d try to buy her another week or so if the room is still stable and she’s not throwing any mold or stress. Fresh white pistils still showing tells me she’s not totally done building.
