I'm gonna give living soil a try in a 10 gallon fabric pot using mostly what I already have, and what I can easily get hold of where I live. Would appreciate feedback / suggestions on what I have planned before I proceed:

### 1. Base Mix (Approx. 10 Gallons Total Volume)
* **5.3 Gallons** Canna Terra Professional Plus
* **1.3 Gallons** Rice Hulls
* **1.3 Gallons** Perlite
* **1.0 Gallon** Worm Castings
* **1.3 Gallons** Pre-Charged Biochar

### 2. Dry Amendments
* **1.25 cups (300g)** Mills Vitabrix (Monomeric Silicon/Silicate supplement)
* **1.0 cup** Bone Meal
* **0.5 cup** Blood Meal
* **0.5 cup** Crushed Sea Shells
* **1.0 quart Garden center Composted Cow Manure

### 3. Microbial & Liquid "Activation"
* **1.0 teaspoon** BioTabs Bactrex (Concentrated bacteria/fungi + Yucca wetting agent)
* **40 ml** Canna Rhizotonic (Seaweed-based root stimulator/kelp substitute)

Let us know how it worked out for you
Kudos on making your own living soil.

The thing I'd watch is that Canna Terra already comes charged and limed, so you're piling amendments onto a base that isn't starting from empty. Blood meal's the one I'd go easy on there, it releases fast and runs hot. I'd mix everything up and let it sit damp for a few weeks before planting, gives the biology time to work through the meals before roots are in it.
