Hi all first time indoor grower.
will try to add as much info as possible.
2 tent set up both Mars hydro kits
tent 1 80x80x160 Ts-1000 light oscilating fan inline ex-haust fan inline controller.
Tent 2 60x60x140 same equipment as tent 1
i started 2 feminized plants from seed using Canna terra seed mix. which went well for my 1st time. on 15th june i transplanted both into 15 litre fabric pots using canna terra professional plus.
it says there should be enough feed for first few weeks. ive not added any Nutrients as yet. ive only added cal/mag once so far
i live in hard water area..
when i transplanted i weighed both as a indication for watering.
the ph of water has been 6.09 - 6.28 when watering i make 1 lot with ph down & split water 50/50 each plant between 600 - 800ml each.
After 3 days plant in tent 1 was looking poorly & all new growth was looking a dark colour
ive looked online for symptons & had mixed readings. Thought i would ask you fine growers if you have seen this issue & what it could be.
Day temps tent 1 22c - 28c night 20c - 25c
Humudity 57 - 68 day & night.. tent 2 similar temps. light is ts-1000 at 20% about 36 inch above. pic 1 - 3 are tent 1 pic 4 is tent 2 & pic 5 are nutrients ive got.
Any thing else please ask & thank you for any Help. Mushka

Based on what you said and the plants appearance, I suspect calcium overload in the soil creating a transport disruption. It's the primary driver of crinkly and twisted new growth. Calcium isn't just an important micronutrient, it also manages all the other nutrient traffic in the medium. When it gets out of whack, everything can get out of whack. Stop the cal mag and if you have Epsom salt, just throw a little pinch of it in in your water to catch up to the cal load and equal it out. I don't think there's any cation at all in canna terra and if there is it's probably real low, so adding cal mag hit the plant as a shock to its system.

Hi thanks for the response's
ive got some epson salts due to come tomorrow i gave them both plain water yesterday
the girl which is poorly is skywalker X girl Scout cookie & other is OG kush.
As i said i tranplanted both same day using same Soil & when watering i mix 1 bottle & split water 50/50 to each plant. The girl Scout was taller than Og kush & growth seems to have halted since transplanting.
can i ask has any one used those Nutrients that are in pic 5 & if so are they any good.
i apreciate your help & support obviously im a Noob at this lol.

Hard water has Cali mg in it the ratio will depend on the source

That twisted top in pics 1-3 looks more like root/transplant stress with a mineral imbalance riding on top than a straight deficiency. Fresh Canna Terra Pro has food in it already, and in a hard water area one shot of cal/mag can be enough to make a small root ball act weird after a move into a big 15L pot. The OG handling it better doesn't mean you did two different things, some seedlings just take the same change harder.

I wouldn't throw the Epsom at it just because it's arriving. Magnesium sulfate is still another salt, and right now I'd be trying to let the root zone settle, not add more variables. Plain pH'd water for now, let the pot get properly lighter between waterings, and water slowly around the original root ball plus a bit wider instead of keeping the whole fabric pot constantly damp. Your pH range isn't crazy for that mix.

Those Cali Bud's bottles may grow plants fine, but I wouldn't start them on this plant yet. Use the soil charge first. Once she is pushing normal new growth again, then if you want to use that line, start very low on the Grow, maybe 1/4 dose or less. The damaged leaves won't repair, so judge it by the next set coming out cleaner.

Yup that's why if you have carbonates in the tap it's best to leave the dolomite out of your mix. Tap will stand in for the dolomite and elemental sulfer will keep the carbonate drift in check the same way it will dolomite.
