The extras I put in 7 gallon pots are gonna be big. Some are bigger than the ones in the ground right now and I'm trying to figure how to support them. If I top like @Hossgrows suggests I'll have bushes, which would be great but I want to keep them next to the garage as long as possible to protect from the hedgerow diseases. Bit of a dilemma.

I can think of worse problems to have! Are they all sexed?๐Ÿ‘ not much else to do, but spread them out!

Yes...bushes. Doesn't mean they'll be short, though. I'd have to top them twice more to keep um short. Last year's was just over 8' tall come harvest.

Pic from July 31. Still in stretch

You had a lot of fun last year Hoss (until trimming time).

Cpur has lots of things working this year. Trim jail could have some busy inmates this year :-).

OMG Yes not much other than putting a stake close to them or several bamboo poles in the bags. Thats what i use to support the branches down the line and i use garden jute or rubber coated wire. My prayers are with you LOL and you must spread them out. They are just beautiful, too much for me.

Trimming was easy. I dry trim, mainly with my fingers. Leaves me with some nice hash balls for something extra.

Wet trimming is such a gooey mess. IMO

I think you only want top them once to much topping you get lots of smaller buds and more trim work it better to top earlier anything after 3rf or 4th set of true leaves just remember to keep space so rain doesn't splash dirt on to your buds .

The advantage to multiple topping of the plant is so it gets wider, and in that width, absorbs more sunlight. I typically top once, and find my plants are bushy enough,
Although I have experimented and topped multiple times to see if it would make a difference, And those plants grew very wide. One example I grew a โ€œwhite runtsโ€ which ended up being over 8 feet tall and 12 feet wide. Iโ€™d say the buds were about average to large.

I have a feeling you have a pretty good idea what it is, Sepurrrr!๐Ÿ˜†
Might be Septoria, but it also might be apple scab. In which case, I don't think it is a disease of cannabis. Hope not. Will spray tomorrow 'cause I did find a few leaves with 'spots' today during my morning walk around, but they were old and low on the plants.

Iโ€™ll bet a 40 gallon tow behind electric sprayer is beginning to look pretty good about now!๐Ÿ˜…๐Ÿป and we wonโ€™t get in to the subject of grasping at straws! Apple scab!๐Ÿ˜†
