6 days into flowering and still no sign into sex and they are now almost 3 months old

i certainly wouldn't worry bout pollinating the other plants, if you cant read the sex yet they are not going to seed anything. You say they are only 6 days into flower? sometimes seeds take a bit longer to sex then clones, just be patient i had some plants from seeds in just like you and had to wait 13 days for the last one to sex.

I had 4 ROG's from seed wait untill they were 4-5 feet tall 6 feet across to tell me they are male. It happens with seeds, they take forever to show.. It was 8-9 days into flower that I spotted the maleness and chopped them down..

dont worry some strains can take 3 weeks to show gender, less than a week i would consider quite fast.

i say this alot but if left untopped plants will show sex quicker its usually 8-10 weeks for most strains. its usually at the 5th -8th node but if you top it you are now looking at the 3rd or 4th node. I do alot of crossing and breeding from start of flower till pollen starts dropping in most males is around 2-3 weeks for most plants and dont worry you will be able to tell your males and females long before they start dropping pollen. you will see a cluster of balls long before a pollen sack opens.

whenever I am growing a seed I grow it till 6 weeks take 3 clones and ship it straight to the flower room untopped. ( I agree with kid about untopped showing quicker and plus I always run a new strain I am not familiar with untopped because it helps me learn the plants characteristics and if it should be topped fim'd or lst'd nextime as differant strains react differently to each as well as some doing better leftalone.) if it sexes male then I shitcan the clones I took unless I am on a breeding project. Don't worry about the pollen sacs by the time you spot em if they are male you will have plenty of time to chop em or vacate em for pollen collection. BB

It is not just a function of time, it is a function of maturity (if that makes sense). Simple question--are your babies growing alternating nodes yet, or are they still opposed? If still opposed, it's going to be a little while before they tell you who's who and what's what. Very soon after the nodes begin to alternate they'll let you know.

I feel so much better. I was not letting the fan hit em and taking them out of the room and basiccly freaking out. I have grown many times and usually the first montrh or so at about the 5th set of leaves they show me there sex but I that was always the same pure inidca.The plants are Deadhead OG from Caliconnection that will not show themselves and I keep thinking everything is a seed pod. I am losing touch on reality. I have another 30 Alien Dog, 5 SFV, 10 Raskal, 10 tahoe and 5 Purple OG in this Caliconnection grow and they are all from cuttings except the Deadhead and I spent every last cent I had buying all these cuttings so I was worried the Deadhead was going to make my Cali grow go south and turn into crap. Thanks alot everyone I am feeling way better now. So one other problem. I went out and got a new EZcloner and then got 4 OZ.'s of some Alien Dog Cherry that was so good that I have been ripped for 2 weeks and barely remembered to water anything but I also started flowering and didnt take cuttings with the $400 cloner I bought thats still in its box. IS it to late to take cuttings? Could I just take em and hit em with a big shot of nitrogen and put on 18 and 6?

how long have they been flowering? usually its ok to take cuts up until two weeks of flower. they might take a bit to get back to veg but just be patient. if its been more then 2 weeks you can still take cuts but they may not return to veg, its worth a try especially on the lower branches as they usually dont flower as soon as tops, also this could be done when lolly popping the plants anyways for better air movement! put them on 20- 4 light cycle

Couple weeks into flower is no problem. Even a month in it can be done, though it's a lot slower. Do it like brotherlewrl says and you should be golden.

But I suggest you either raise your tolerance level for the good weed or lower the bowl. ;)

to much nitrogen will cause your plants to stretch :) go easy with it.

its now 12 days into flowering and still NO sign of sex?! I am starting to wonder about this strain. I have a Grape ape I started from seed and it is 8 inches tall and is showing female? I really dont get it!

i would just keep waiting, the worst that could happen is they are male and when they show you cut them. dont panic it is not that abnormal.

PD, have the nodes begun growing alternately, or are they still directly opposed?

from my experience i've always noticed my males tend to show sex first. i've had some plants take up to two weeks before showing signs of sex, but that after only a 3 week veg from seed.
